Igor Cruz

Image
Igor Cruz is a Mexican puppeteer and voice actor who performs Multimuppet and Multimonstruo roles in the 2005 season of Plaza Sesamo. Apparently that was the only production in which he served as a puppeteer. In addition to puppetry, Igor also dubbed Elmo in Spanish versions of Sesame Street videos such as The Get Healthy Now Show, Being Green, and Abby in Wonderland. I wonder why Cruz does not do puppetry more than he does voice acting. He mostly does dubs for movies, animated shows, and anime. Some of his dub credits include Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Camp Lazlo, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Digimon. I'm going to assume someone trained Igor Cruz to learn how to puppeteer on Plaza Sesamo before he was asked to perform in that one season. At least he got to work with Mexican puppeteers like Rocio Lara, Eugenio Bartilotti, and Odin Dupeyron, to name a few. Is it ever difficult for him to dub a show or film in Spanish since it's hard to keep track of moving lips on a screen...

Gony Paz

Image
Gony Paz is an Israeli puppeteer and tap dancer who took over the role of Abigail from Shani Cohen on Rechov Sumsum since 2009. She also played Abigail for Shalom Sesame (2010) in which she was able to work with Eric Jacobson who played Grover. Gony must have been excited to perform alongside the Muppet performer on Shalom Sesame since it's rare that an American Sesame Street character interacts with other international characters. Paz is also a performer in the Train Theater troupe of Jerusalem but I wonder if she did either puppetry or tap dancing with that theater troupe. Some of her several outside projects include the Hop! Channel, Nickelodeon, Baby, and BFTV. As for theater, she has performed on both Night Tours and Adventures of the Perfectly Behaved Donkey as well as creating works for both children and adults. Many other puppeteers Gony Paz worked with included Avi Yakir, Yousef Sweid, Gilles Ben-David, and Efrat Gonan. I've read that went to three schools all across I...

Erdinc Dogan

Image
Erdinc Dogan is a Turkish puppeteer and actor who performed on the Turkish co-production of Sesame Street, Susam Sokağı as Kirpik. It's a shame that show only lasted for three years, from 1989-1991 to be precise as many international co-productions of Sesame Street lasted longer. Erdinc went on to produce his own puppet segments for TRT and hosted the Turkish version of a game show entitled Supermarket Sweep. Dogan only worked with two other Turkish puppeteers, Hakan Odabsi and Ozgen Eldek. He has also acted on stage, mostly performing with the Ankara State Theater. Currently he appears as himself on both social media and his own YouTube channel (I think). Erdinc Dogan would have been great if he guest starred on other European co-productions of Sesame Street such as Sesamstrasse or Sesamstraat, that way he would meet more puppeteers. There should have been a different Turkish co-production of Sesame Street after Susam Sokağı and that would've kept him going as a puppeteer. But...

Nyanga Tshabalala

Image
Nyanga Tshabalala is an internationally accomplished puppeteer, puppet trainer, writer, and director who is known for performing in African co-productions of Sesame Street. He performs Zikwe within Takalani Sesame for South Africa and also did a different version of him called Zobi on Sesame Square and Techniques for Effective Teaching videos. Nyanga is fluent in English and many African languages which is probably useful in case he ever gets interviewed for an appearance. Tshabalala has spent six-month affiliations with Sesame Workshop to studied multi-media educational programming, according to the Wiki. He has even trained with Jim Henson Productions in New York on both Muppet making and costume design, something no other South African has done. Some other South African puppeteers he worked with include Boitumelo Betty Maretele, Lindani Obed Nkosi, and Nozizwe Zulu. It must've been an exciting moment for Nyanga Tshabalala to become known as internationally accomplished, I think ...

Julian Hosking

Image
Julian Hosking was a British ballet dancer with the Royal Ballet who made an appearance on Episode 318 of The Muppet Show in a full-body Muppet costume. Alongside both Graham Fletcher and Michael Coleman, he danced with Leslie Uggams in the "Hey There Good Times" number. Between 1971-1986, Julian has performed in several productions for the Royal Opera House (except for a hiatus.) Some of the performances Hosking did include Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and The Rite of Spring, all of which show how talented he is. I wonder if Fletcher was the one who invited Coleman & him to be in that one opening number on The Muppet Show. He seems to be more experienced at ballet dancing which must have earned him a chance to be one of the Mutations. It's a shame Julian Hosking passed away in 1989, he was a pro when it comes to dancing ballet. I hope his co-dancers stepped in to help keep his legacy going until they stepped down from performing with the Royal Ballet....

Charlie Kaiser

Image
Charlie Kaiser is a trained German puppet builder, puppeteer, and writer who is known for performing on Sesamstrasse since 1993. On the show she performed Feli Filu (2000-2003) and Frida not to mention others including further side characters on its spin-off. But wait, Charlie also assists several performers on their characters such as Pferd's hooves, Ernie's right hand, and both of Tiffy's hands alongside Marita Stolze and Sabine Falkenberg. Kaiser got to perform alongside several German performers like Carsten Morar-Haffke, Martin Paas, and Martin Reinl, just to name a few. I have read that before Sesamstrasse, she met Stolze and Kermit Love who both connected her to Hallo Spencer another Studio Hamberg bit featuring puppets. In the picture above she's located in the front with her fellow performers. It appears that Charlie Kaiser is one of the busiest Sesamstrasse performers since she both performed characters and assisted the other performers on their characters. I ...

Kerstin Siebmann-Roders

Image
Kerstin Siebmann-Roders is a German puppeteer who is best known for being the original performer of Tiffy on Sesamstrasse from 1977 to 1986. She was married to Samson's original performer Peter Roders and also performed with Martina Klose and Benita Steinmann. Kerstin stepped down from being Tiffy after the NDR Studio burned down, which resulted in Marita Stolze taking over. Siebmann-Roders must be very lucky to have two performers like Stolze and Sabine Falkenberg inherit her character until the character was retired. She also acted as herself on a show called Zum blauen Bock which took place in her time on Sesamstrasse, in 1979 to be exact. It's unknown what other projects she's done besides Tiffy on the show, at least it's unknown according to the Muppet Wiki. Kerstin Siebmann-Roders hasn't got a solo picture of herself either; I'm not even sure the picture above is really her. In a picture that includes the real her, it's hard to tell which performer is ...

Agnieszka Mazurek

Image
Agnieszka Mazurek is a Polish puppeteer and actress who performed Beata on the Polish co-production of Sesame Street, Ulica Sezamkowa. She performed on the show from 1996-2001 alongside two other Polish puppeteers; Marcin Ryl-Krystianowski and Wojciech Slupinski. Too bad for Agnieszka that the show is no longer in production since 2001, which is unknown why. Well at least Mazurek got to work on a Sesame Street international co-production. She mainly performs on stage outside, notably with the troupe Teatr Lalka since 1992. Her puppeteering roles include Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast, MacBeth, and Snow Queen (the title role), just to name a few of them. Agnieszka Mazurek also does dub work occasionally, like video game Baldur's Gate II'. It's a shame Ulica Sezamkowa did not have a replacement since Poland could use an international Sesame Street co-production. She seems to be another puppeteer to mainly work in the theater. Agnieszka should consider performing...

Cary Antebi

Image
Cary Antebi is a puppeteer, puppet builder, and writer who only puppeteered with the Muppets once; on The Great Santa Claus Switch. He was surrounded by other people who puppeteered in that one special such as Marilyn Sokol, Greg Antonacci, and John Byrum. Cary should have done other Muppet projects in the early 1970s like some of the other performers he worked with. Antebi has also performed outside with Bil Baird on his two Off-Broadway shows The Whistling Wizard and the Sultan of Tuffet and Ali Baba and His 40 Thieves. He is perhaps best known for building and performing the puppet characters Sherlock and Flapper on a children's series called The Magic Garden. He also did the same for puppet character Rags on The Patchwork Family where he also displayed his writing talents. Cary Antebi has done a lot of work in the early 1970s but it's unknown if he ever performed in future years or if he's still performing today. What ever happened to him after 1972 when he was last see...

Nameer El-Kadi

Image
Nameer El-Kadi is a Turkish-American actor, suit performer, and puppeteer who has worked in several Creature Shop projects from 1997-2014. He played the body of An Ape Named Ape in George of the Jungle with Rob Tygner doing the face and he also operated Mother Badger in Frances and appeared on-screen as a toy army soldier in Nightmares & Dreamscapes. Nameer seems to be like Misty Rosas for they are both suit performers and motion capture performers as well. El-Kadi even appeared on Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge as both a suit performer and a puppeteer for three episodes. Seeing as he's a suit performer, did he have some difficulty operating a creature hand puppet? Outside of the Creature Shop, he made TV appearances on 24, Murder, Glee, The Young and the Restless, and many more. As for film work, Nameer El-Kadi did suit or make-up work in Quest for Fire and Congo; not to mention a handful of movies where his face is seen. I wonder if he ever gets exhausted wearing a ...

Sandey Grinn

Image
Sandey Grinn is a puppeteer, actor, musician, and writer who has done freelance work on many shows, most notably on Zoobilee Zoo as Charlie Google and Bill Der Beaver. He also acted within Kung Fu: The Legend Continues and Babylon 5 but is more well known for his puppetry work. Sandey has done puppetry on Beetlejuice, Sabrina The Teenage Witch, DC Follies (by Sid and Marty Krofft), and Child's Play 2 & 3, just to name a few. Grinn is also a fine pianist when it comes to performing for people such as shows or something classical for the fancy ones. His theater credits include Oliver Twist, Dockside Music Hall, and A Broadway Baby; shows that he's a great actor on both screen and stage. Some other puppeteers he worked with include Thomas Fountain, James Murray, and Todd Mattox, not to mention Van Snowden. Working on Zoobilee Zoo gave Sandey Grinn a chance to work with singer Ben Vereen, one of The Muppet Show guest stars back in 1976. According to his website, he is another p...

Stoph Scheer

Image
Stoph Scheer is a puppeteer, puppet builder, writer, and improviser who worked with the Muppets and Henson Company a few times. She/they worked on Puppet Up and the Henson show Slumberkins as well as the latest Muppet project The Muppets Mayhem. Stoph reveals on her website that she also uses they/them pronouns as she is non-binary too. Scheer isn't the only puppeteer who is non-binary, Ali J. Eisner is non-binary too. Outside she puppeteers and writes for many shows such as The Creatures of Yes, Doppelskope, and Sirens of the Lambs, to name a few. Her stage projects have involved People's Improv Theater and Muhlenberg Summer Music Theater both which feature puppetry. Stoph Scheer is also a person with many talents such as directing, producing, clowning, doing magic, and so much more even I don't know about. She also did theater work of a trilogy known as Gruff, Grimm, and Growl that can still be seen in theaters today as mentioned on the website. I'll bet she/they were...

Todd Coyle

Image
Todd Coyle is a puppeteer and costumer who hasn't worked with neither the Muppets nor Sesame Street but has worked with the performers on outside shows. He's known for performing the puppet character Smedley on David D TV in the 1990s. Todd has also puppeteered on a couple shows such as Allegra's Window, The Book of Pooh, and Videogame Theater (also as a puppet builder). Coyle got to work with numerous performers for the former two such as Heather Asch, Tim Lagasse, and Eric Engelhardt. Now he runs his own company called Todd's Costumes which makes several costumes and props from films like Star Wars and Indiana Jones. It's incredible how he is able to make the costumes look just like the ones seen on-screen. I believe that Todd Coyle should work at Puppet Heap or the NY Creature Shop since he's good at making costumes, maybe puppets too if he learns. I'll bet he's still working with his company today, you never know where you'll find a movie costume...

Rene Zendejas

Image
Rene Zendejas was a puppeteer and puppet creator who was known for his puppets, marionettes, and ventriloquial figures. He both performed and created marionettes for an episode of Tales from the Crypt (with Thomas Fountain) and Ben with his company Rene and His Artists Productions. Rene had also worked alongside Joe Selph, his performing partner, for 22 years until 2014. Zendejas passed away in 2014 and yet Selph was able to keep his legacy running. It's a shame he's gone now, because he would have been great with more performers that worked with the Muppets. The Muppets and Sesame Street hardly perform with marionettes anymore. Rene Zendejas is probably one of the greatest puppeteers to work with marionettes, puppets, and ventriloquist figures (maybe even the only one). Additional shows he worked on include Mrs. Columbo, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, and Wings; all of which display the other talents he's done. He should be lucky to have a great friend like Joe Selph to ...

Wayne White

Image
Wayne White is a puppeteer, artist, illustrator, and art director who is known for his artistic creations over the years of his life. He served as a set and puppet designer and puppeteer on Pee-Wee's Playhouse doing lots of characters such as marionette Randy. Wayne has also done production and set design for Shining Time Station (also performing Tex in Season 1 before Alan Semok replaced him), Riders in the Sky, Beakman's World, and The Weird Al Show. White has even art directed and designed for a couple music videos; one by Peter Gabriel and and the other by Smashing Pumpkins. He got to work alongside several puppeteers such as Alison Mork, Kevin Carlson, Gregory Williams, and the puppeteers behind Flexitoon. He is one of the few puppeteers to have a painting career outside of puppetry. Wayne White has done many forms of art such as illustrations, sculptures, paintings, and even cartoons; there's just no telling what he can't do. I wonder what types of artwork he'...

Patty Maloney

Image
Patty Maloney is a dwarf actress, puppeteer, voice actress, and suit performer who has performed for as long as anyone can remember. She used her talents for several different shows over the decades; doing puppetry on Tales from the Crypt, being suit performer for both Welcome to Pooh Corner and Dumbo's Circus, and voice acting for both Scooby-Doo and The Smurfs. Patty has worked with many performers as well such as John Lovelady, Sharon Baird, Paul Fusco, Van Snowden, and more. Maloney was more famous for doing acting on shows such as Far Out Space Nuts, The Bay City Rollers Show, and Swing Shift. It's cool how someone with dwarfism can be spectacular in show business (though I read she was reluctant to do so after a tragic moment of her life). She is another of many performers that got to work with Sid and Marty Krofft, for a short time. I wonder if Patty Maloney had any difficulty puppeteering the Crypt Keeper on Tales from the Crypt since he was operated by many puppeteers ...

Sharon Baird

Image
Sharon Baird is an actress, puppeteer, voice actress, suit performer, singer, and dancer who is known for being one of the Mouseketeers in The Mickey Mouse Club. On The Mickey Mouse Club, she did many forms of dancing such as tap, as well as singing and acting for the whole program. In the 1970s, Sharon has worked as a puppeteer for Sid and Marty Krofft, among others, doing shows such as H.R. Pufnstuf, Sigmund and the Sea Monsters, and Land of the Lost, just to name a few. In the 1980s, Baird was a suit performer on Welcome to Pooh Corner and Dumbo's Circus, the latter featured John Lovelady and Paul Fusco. I've read that between 1964-1969, she married a singer, and, with the singer's friend, performed a nightclub act called Two Cats and a Mouse. It's amazing how one woman can act, sing, dance, voice act, and do puppetry over the years. Sharon Baird got to work alongside other performers such as Patty Maloney, Van Snowden, and Phil Baron who all worked on shows featurin...

Karime Vakilzadeh

Image
Karime Vakilzadeh is a German puppeteer and actress who performed on the German co-production of Sesame Street, Sesamstrasse throughout the 1980s. She assisted Marita Stolze as the right hand of Tiffy from 1989-1993. I wonder if Karime performed her own characters on Sesamstrasse as well. Vakilzadeh worked alongside other performers during that time such as Wilhelm Helmrich, Benita Steinmann, and Klaus Esch, to name a few. Outside of Sesamstrasse, she performed Leonie Lowenherz (a character that was on the show originated by Andrea Bongers) on her own 1991 spin-off; but it wasn't Sesamstrasse related. She also was a regular performer on Hallo Spencer (as Mona and Karl-Heinz), as well as other series though currently unknown right now. Karime Vakilzadeh has also acted on-camera which can be seen in episodes of Tatort and Grossstadtrevier; one episode each. Does she ever keep in touch with her fellow performers such as Joachim Hall? If she does, then it shows that she still remembers...

Brian Jones

Image
Brian Jones is an actor and puppeteer who has worked with the Muppets twice. He was credited as an "LA Muppet Performer" in Muppets Most Wanted and was an uncredited puppeteer on The Muppets (2015). I don't know why Brian hasn't received credit on The Muppets series. I have read that Jones also worked in Unstable Fables and Puppet Up, both projects produced by Henson Alternative. Other than puppetry, he has also acted on-screen in numerous projects such as Castle, Community, and Desperate Housewives; as well as Black-ish and Speechless. Since 2005, he's also been a cast member at Impro Theatre, which probably did countless shows including Puppet Up. Brian Jones wasn't the only person to be uncredited for The Muppets, others include Kristen Newman, Colleen Smith, and Karen Prell; all of which performed on the series too. His most recent works have included Side Hustle, Greater Than Gravity, and Frank & Emmet; who knows, maybe he'll do more projects in t...

Peter Norgaard

Image
Peter Norgaard is a Danish puppeteer, ventriloquist, and magician who served as assistant puppeteer for Elmo on Sesamgade, the Danish co-production of Sesame Street. He only assisted Thomas Roos for the first 13 episodes before Martin Saelan took over. It's a shame Sesamgade wasn't a full co-production in Denmark and there hasn't been one since 2020. Peter was more popular outside of Sesamgade, working alongside Carolina Lybeck in creating various shows for people of all ages that they toured with across Denmark for many events. Norgaard has also played Nicky in the Danish adaption of Avenue Q in 2011 and even participated in Denmark Got Talent in 2015 (he didn't win though). I wonder which talents he did on Denmark Got Talent, either performing ventriloquism or magic. I've read that after Denmark Got Talent 2015, he was invited to Las Vegas to perform with ventriloquist, impressionist, and singer Terry Factor, the winner of America's Got Talent. Based on the pi...

Ken Haines

Image
Ken Haines is a puppeteer, author, and actor who only worked with the Muppets once as an additional performer in The Muppets Christmas Carol. I don't know why he hasn't served as an additional Muppet performer for other UK Muppet projects such as Muppet Treasure Island or Muppets Most Wanted. Ken is more well known for his outside work for he founded On the Other Hand Theatre in 1985. Haines & his company have put on puppet shows across the UK and Europe for both kids and adults, and they're probably still doing it today. His television credits include BBC children's series Storytime, Words and Pictures, Music Makers, Palace Hill, and Breakfast Serials. Did he puppeteer in all of those series or act on-screen for those? I've read that Ken Haines even co-authored a book entitled The Usborne Book of Puppets, which shows how to make puppets with inexpensive materials. I wonder if he still has memory of the Muppet performers such as Jerry Nelson, Steve Whitmire, or ...

Robbie Barnett

Image
Robbie Barnett is a puppeteer, actor, clown, and stiltwalker who served as an additional puppeteer in many Muppet features. He has also worked on The Dark Crystal; performing the Landstriders (with Hugh Spight and Swee Lim, the Mystic Numerologist, and assisting on Jim Henson's characters, with Toby Philpott. I've read that Robbie's stiltwalker talents are what inspired the Landstriders. As for the Muppets, Barnett served as marionette puppeteer for "Couldn't We Ride" in The Great Muppet Caper and was additional performer on The Muppets Christmas Carol and Muppet Treasure Island. He also assisted in The Tale of the Bunny Picnic, but was uncredited in most releases. Outside of both The Dark Crystal and Muppets, he was mostly an on-camera actor, acting in the film Yentl and a minor recurring guest role in You Rang, M'Lord? as chaplain Robin. Robbie Barnett has even acted as a wheeler within Return to Oz (which included numerous Creature Shop alumni). I wonde...

Feriana Tiarnida

Image
Feriana Tiarnida is an Indonesian puppeteer and puppet builder who performs Putri on the Indonesian co-production of Sesame Street, Jalan Sesama. Her character was made by Ed Christie (a regular within Sesame Workshop) and she was trained by Martin P. Robinson to perform her. Feriana has also built puppets for a recent show by Larrikin Puppets called Hijabi Girl: A Musical Puppet Show. Tiarnida did not perform other characters on Jalan Sesama, probably because that show was working under a tight budget of how many characters are needed. She had the chance to both train & perform alongside other Indonesian puppeteers such as Razi Hassan, Tresna Wardhana, Melanie Restiyanti, and others. Despite that, there isn't a lot of information about her on the Muppet Wiki. Too bad Feriana Tiarnida doesn't get interviewed about her work. It's kind of like other international Sesame Street performers since many of them have little information about themselves. Maybe someday, someone w...

Victoria Johnson

Image
Victoria Johnson is a puppeteer, designer, and builder who hasn't worked with the Muppets, although she had studied puppetry with many Muppet performers like Michael Earl, Mak Wilson, and Karen Prell. She began doing puppet shows within Kentucky before traveling the world for her career. I have read that when Victoria was in London, she built and performed a 14 foot tall puppet for an unnamed production for sold out crowds at the Royal Albert Hall. When Johnson returned to the US, she went on to perform at the Center of Puppetry Arts. It amazes me how she managed to perform a tall puppet she built herself. She also performed numerous characters in the main stage puppet production of Peter Pan such as Tinkerbell and the Crocodile. Other characters Victoria Johnson performed appeared in different shows, like Harry, Reggie, Bonny Bunny, and others. It's a shame that the Muppet performers she has studied with never invite her to assist them in any Muppet or Henson project. Even if ...

Marta Mozelle MacRostie

Image
Marta Mozelle MacRostie is a puppeteer, builder, clown, and theatre artist who has assisted on Sesame Street during its 45th season. I don't know why she only worked on Sesame Street for one season, she would've been great performing her own characters. Marta has designed and built puppets for various stage shows throughout the years like Silver Wings, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, and the Puppet Kitchen for the San Diego Zoo. MacRostie has also been a performer for TV shows like Time Machine Guitar, The Warby Trace Show, and a couple of commercials, while her stage credits are more vast. I've read that she studied with many puppeteers at the O'Neill such as Paul Zaloom, Tim Lagasse, Ronnie Burkett, and more. She was also a jazz singer at UMass, fronting two jazz bands that still run. There's nothing in the world that Marta Mozelle MacRostie can't do. She's also famous for working with many puppet companies, most notably, the Puppet Kitchen (alongside Mi...

Michael Schupbach

Image
Michael Schupbach is a puppeteer, puppet builder, designer, and wrangler who worked on Bear in the Big Blue House and Sesame Street. He started his career on season one of Bear in the Big Blue House as both an assistant and occasional puppeteer. Afterwards, Michael was moved to Sesame Street where he was an on-set puppet supervisor and member of the NY Creature Shop. In the workshop, Schupbach designed and built Sesame Street and Elmo's World characters, such as alternate Elmo puppets. Outside of Sesame Street and Bear, he is one of the co-founders of the Puppet Kitchen (alongside Emily DeCola and Eric Wright). The company's credits include ImaginOcean, Clifford the Big Red Dog Live, Hamlet, and that's only a few of them. Michael Schupbach has also done loads of freelance work on television shows, live shows, and even for stores. He worked on Johnny and the Sprites, Greg the Bunny, and also co-made puppets with both Rick Lyon and Martin P. Robinson for Avenue Q and Little S...

Jurgen Tombers

Image
Jurgen Tombers is a German puppeteer and director who served as supporting puppeteer on The Secret Life of Toys and Muppet Treasure Island. He was one of the three German puppeteers to get the job on the former, the others being Axel Rathgeber, Marcus Hubner, and Carsten Morar-Haffke. I'll bet Jurgen was very excited to work alongside famous Muppet performers. Outside of those, Tombers served as both performer and director of a 3D animated sitcom called Dragon's Rock; and also performed on a show entitled Bernd das Brot. It's a pity though that he doesn't have a picture of himself. The picture above shows him along with other people, but it's hard to tell which person is him. On a positive note, the pictures on Google prove Jurgen Tombers has worked on more shows than thought. I wonder what are the names of the shows the pictures with him are from. Perhaps if he was interviewed, he might tell people what other projects he's done. You never know when Jurgen will ...

Andrew A. Cano

Image
Andrew A. Cano is a Mexican-American puppeteer who joined Sesame Street in 2021, inheriting the role of Ricardo (Rosita's dad) from Tyler Bunch. He made his debut performance in an online Sesame Street music video "Fathers", a spoof of the title song from the Friends series. Andrew also performs one of the newest Muppet characters, Lalo who debuted in the 54th season (previously made a cameo the previous season). Cano also served as a performer for Henson Company show Slumberkins and on Puppet Up. He even puppeteered in live musicals featuring puppetry outside of Sesame Street, such as Winnie the Pooh, Dream Carver, Unsettling, and Avenue Q, to name a few. He got to work with several Sesame Street performers such as Christopher Hayes, Stacey Gordon, Bradley Freeman Jr., and Ryan Dillon. Apparently in Season 54, Andrew A. Cano has had a bigger role since training. Personally, I think it was a great idea to recast a character to a performer of the same nationality, in other...

David Bizzaro

Image
David Bizzaro is a puppeteer, filmmaker, and builder/wrangler who worked on numerous short films and music videos since 2002. He started doing freelance puppet building and wrangling for The Jim Henson Company and Sesame Street in 2018, beginning with The Happytime Murders. David has also provided digital puppetry for characters on the Sesame Studios YouTube channel, working alongside Haley Jenkins. Bizzaro has done plenty of work outside, puppeteering for IBM commercials, Lego live events, M&M's UK social media, and SYFY After Dark (building too). In 2022, he became a Muppet performer The Muppets Mayhem, starring Dr. Teeth and the Electric Mayhem. He got to work with other performers while filming, like Donna Kimball, Art Vega, Bradley Freeman Jr. and more. I'll bet David Bizzaro was very excited about becoming another Muppet performer in addition to being in the workshop. I wonder what artists he worked with while making the music videos for them. Let's hope he'll...

Mona Marshall

Image
Mona Marshall is a voice actress, puppeteer, and singer who perhaps is best known for voice acting and dubbing over 100 cartoon and anime shows. She voiced both Mokey Fraggle and Cotterpin Doozer on the animated version of Fraggle Rock and was heard in Sesame Street animated inserts. Mona was also part of the loop group for It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie where she dubbed for on-camera actors and did background dialogue. Marshall should have worked on Muppet Babies or other animated shows by Henson. I've read that she puppeteered for Bubbe's Boarding House, The Puzzle Place, and The Dust Bunny Chronicles, but other than those, she mostly voice acted. Her voice can be heard on many projects such as Digimon, Spider-Man (1980), South Park, and Doraemon, to name a few. Mona Marshall mainly provided young male voices in characters on both screen and video game in order for them to be older and wiser. I also read that she has a singing career, performing songs onstage, b...
