Kerstin Siebmann-Roders

Kerstin Siebmann-Roders is a German puppeteer who is best known for being the original performer of Tiffy on Sesamstrasse from 1977 to 1986. She was married to Samson's original performer Peter Roders and also performed with Martina Klose and Benita Steinmann. Kerstin stepped down from being Tiffy after the NDR Studio burned down, which resulted in Marita Stolze taking over. Siebmann-Roders must be very lucky to have two performers like Stolze and Sabine Falkenberg inherit her character until the character was retired. She also acted as herself on a show called Zum blauen Bock which took place in her time on Sesamstrasse, in 1979 to be exact. It's unknown what other projects she's done besides Tiffy on the show, at least it's unknown according to the Muppet Wiki. Kerstin Siebmann-Roders hasn't got a solo picture of herself either; I'm not even sure the picture above is really her. In a picture that includes the real her, it's hard to tell which performer is who without the Wiki guiding people. Maybe someday a picture of her actual self with appear on the internet and people will know who she looks like without other performers beside her. At least Kerstin is known for performing on an international co-production of Sesame Street. Maybe someday Siebmann-Roders will get interviewed so she can reveal what she's been doing since stepping down from Sesamstrasse. Then someone will translate her and put more info on her page on the Muppet Wiki. It might not happen yet, but that time will arrive. Kerstin Siebmann-Roders, you'll always be known as Tiffy #1 be me, despite not revealing a solo image of you. Someday you should meet up with your co-performers and tell them what you've been doing after you left. That way people will know more about you. Until then, think about it Kerstin. Great Siebmann-Roders!
