Igor Cruz
Igor Cruz is a Mexican puppeteer and voice actor who performs Multimuppet and Multimonstruo roles in the 2005 season of Plaza Sesamo. Apparently that was the only production in which he served as a puppeteer. In addition to puppetry, Igor also dubbed Elmo in Spanish versions of Sesame Street videos such as The Get Healthy Now Show, Being Green, and Abby in Wonderland. I wonder why Cruz does not do puppetry more than he does voice acting. He mostly does dubs for movies, animated shows, and anime. Some of his dub credits include Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith, Camp Lazlo, Codename: Kids Next Door, and Digimon. I'm going to assume someone trained Igor Cruz to learn how to puppeteer on Plaza Sesamo before he was asked to perform in that one season. At least he got to work with Mexican puppeteers like Rocio Lara, Eugenio Bartilotti, and Odin Dupeyron, to name a few. Is it ever difficult for him to dub a show or film in Spanish since it's hard to keep track of moving lips on a screen. Who knows if Igor will continue to voice act or when he'll try puppetry again? As long as Cruz keeps himself busy, he'll have the confidence he'll need to puppeteer again, whenever that is. Until then, the best thing for him to do is to keep voice acting for Spanish dubs. And maybe someday, Plaza Sesamo might ask him to perform minors in another season. Igor Cruz, you have an incredible voice and you're not bad at puppetry. I hope you'll keep dubbing for Mexican television and film and consider doing puppetry again real soon, that's up to you. You don't have to if you don't want to. Keep working Igor. Muy bien Cruz!
