Stoph Scheer
Stoph Scheer is a puppeteer, puppet builder, writer, and improviser who worked with the Muppets and Henson Company a few times. She/they worked on Puppet Up and the Henson show Slumberkins as well as the latest Muppet project The Muppets Mayhem. Stoph reveals on her website that she also uses they/them pronouns as she is non-binary too. Scheer isn't the only puppeteer who is non-binary, Ali J. Eisner is non-binary too. Outside she puppeteers and writes for many shows such as The Creatures of Yes, Doppelskope, and Sirens of the Lambs, to name a few. Her stage projects have involved People's Improv Theater and Muhlenberg Summer Music Theater both which feature puppetry. Stoph Scheer is also a person with many talents such as directing, producing, clowning, doing magic, and so much more even I don't know about. She also did theater work of a trilogy known as Gruff, Grimm, and Growl that can still be seen in theaters today as mentioned on the website. I'll bet she/they were very excited to be involved in a Muppet production. Other performers Stoph worked with include Donna Kimball, David Bizzaro, Art Vega, and Bruce Lanoil, to name a few. It's confusing Scheer has both she/her/they/them pronouns, it's either she/they are non-binary or not, I mean not that it matters. I hope Slumberkins show her performances are just as good as The Muppets Mayhem. Stoph Scheer, you're doing a spectacular job so far with the Muppets and Henson Company. I hope you'll keep working with the Muppets in the near future on other projects. And who knows, maybe you'll be on the Muppet performers page on the Wiki when Slumberkins is released. Just keep up the wonderful work Stoph. You've got this Scheer!
