Feriana Tiarnida
Feriana Tiarnida is an Indonesian puppeteer and puppet builder who performs Putri on the Indonesian co-production of Sesame Street, Jalan Sesama. Her character was made by Ed Christie (a regular within Sesame Workshop) and she was trained by Martin P. Robinson to perform her. Feriana has also built puppets for a recent show by Larrikin Puppets called Hijabi Girl: A Musical Puppet Show. Tiarnida did not perform other characters on Jalan Sesama, probably because that show was working under a tight budget of how many characters are needed. She had the chance to both train & perform alongside other Indonesian puppeteers such as Razi Hassan, Tresna Wardhana, Melanie Restiyanti, and others. Despite that, there isn't a lot of information about her on the Muppet Wiki. Too bad Feriana Tiarnida doesn't get interviewed about her work. It's kind of like other international Sesame Street performers since many of them have little information about themselves. Maybe someday, someone will interview her and give out more info on her page so everyone will know what else she's done for her career. You never know when Feriana might get interviewed for some kind of podcast or something. Let's hope Tiarnida has the confidence to appear with Putri for that interview. Putri is probably her best (and only) known character she has performed in her career. Feriana Tiarnida, even though Putri is the only known puppet you've played, that's still considered something you're well known for. I hope that you're still remembering the fun times you've had as Putri since Jalan Sesama only lasted for three seasons. Get in touch with your fellow performers someday and catch up when you're free. I bid you luck Feriana. Peace out Tiarnida!
