Agnieszka Mazurek

Agnieszka Mazurek is a Polish puppeteer and actress who performed Beata on the Polish co-production of Sesame Street, Ulica Sezamkowa. She performed on the show from 1996-2001 alongside two other Polish puppeteers; Marcin Ryl-Krystianowski and Wojciech Slupinski. Too bad for Agnieszka that the show is no longer in production since 2001, which is unknown why. Well at least Mazurek got to work on a Sesame Street international co-production. She mainly performs on stage outside, notably with the troupe Teatr Lalka since 1992. Her puppeteering roles include Little Red Riding Hood, Beauty and the Beast, MacBeth, and Snow Queen (the title role), just to name a few of them. Agnieszka Mazurek also does dub work occasionally, like video game Baldur's Gate II'. It's a shame Ulica Sezamkowa did not have a replacement since Poland could use an international Sesame Street co-production. She seems to be another puppeteer to mainly work in the theater. Agnieszka should consider performing in a Polish co-production of Sesame Street again, if there will ever be one that is. Mazurek with her co-workers are the only Polish puppeteers to ever work on an international Sesame Street production. They must hold some kind of record for that. Agnieszka Mazurek you've done a great job on Ulica Sezamkowa and you are still doing great puppeteering for theater. I hope you'll keep doing theater and maybe if Poland will have a new Polish co-production of Sesame Street, you should be one of the performers. Until then, do your best in upcoming theater shows and you'll be fine. Fantastic work Agnieszka. Live on Mazurek!
