Jurgen Tombers

Jurgen Tombers is a German puppeteer and director who served as supporting puppeteer on The Secret Life of Toys and Muppet Treasure Island. He was one of the three German puppeteers to get the job on the former, the others being Axel Rathgeber, Marcus Hubner, and Carsten Morar-Haffke. I'll bet Jurgen was very excited to work alongside famous Muppet performers. Outside of those, Tombers served as both performer and director of a 3D animated sitcom called Dragon's Rock; and also performed on a show entitled Bernd das Brot. It's a pity though that he doesn't have a picture of himself. The picture above shows him along with other people, but it's hard to tell which person is him. On a positive note, the pictures on Google prove Jurgen Tombers has worked on more shows than thought. I wonder what are the names of the shows the pictures with him are from. Perhaps if he was interviewed, he might tell people what other projects he's done. You never know when Jurgen will be on a talk show, podcast, or any other types of interviews. If must have been great Tombers worked with Jerry Nelson, Louise Gold, and Dave Goelz on The Secret Life of Toys and others on Muppet Treasure Island. Maybe soon he'll reunite with fellow performers and discuss about the projects he was on. You never know when there will be a Muppet Treasure Island reunion. Jurgen Tombers, even though you did two Muppet projects, you still did great doing so. You've also done well being both performer and director on Dragon's Rock for many years.
