Nameer El-Kadi

Nameer El-Kadi is a Turkish-American actor, suit performer, and puppeteer who has worked in several Creature Shop projects from 1997-2014. He played the body of An Ape Named Ape in George of the Jungle with Rob Tygner doing the face and he also operated Mother Badger in Frances and appeared on-screen as a toy army soldier in Nightmares & Dreamscapes. Nameer seems to be like Misty Rosas for they are both suit performers and motion capture performers as well. El-Kadi even appeared on Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge as both a suit performer and a puppeteer for three episodes. Seeing as he's a suit performer, did he have some difficulty operating a creature hand puppet? Outside of the Creature Shop, he made TV appearances on 24, Murder, Glee, The Young and the Restless, and many more. As for film work, Nameer El-Kadi did suit or make-up work in Quest for Fire and Congo; not to mention a handful of movies where his face is seen. I wonder if he ever gets exhausted wearing a suit for countless hours when filming a movie. It's unknown what ever happened to him after 2014, no one has neither seen nor heard from him. At least Nameer got to work with Brian Henson and other people such as Drew Massey, Victor Yerrid, Artie Esposito, and Michelan Sisti. I hope El-Kadi will reveal what he's been up to since 2014. It's not like a Creature Shop performer to just disappear after that one year in his career. If he ever shows himself again, that will be amazing for people. Nameer El-Kadi, you're a natural at suit performing for the Creature Shop yet you also gave puppetry a shot. Come out of hiding soon so people can ask you to be in their films. It's just a suggestion, you don't have to if you don't want to. Just keep this in mind when you get a chance to Nameer. And always remain very healthy El-Kadi!
