Mona Marshall

Mona Marshall is a voice actress, puppeteer, and singer who perhaps is best known for voice acting and dubbing over 100 cartoon and anime shows. She voiced both Mokey Fraggle and Cotterpin Doozer on the animated version of Fraggle Rock and was heard in Sesame Street animated inserts. Mona was also part of the loop group for It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie where she dubbed for on-camera actors and did background dialogue. Marshall should have worked on Muppet Babies or other animated shows by Henson. I've read that she puppeteered for Bubbe's Boarding House, The Puzzle Place, and The Dust Bunny Chronicles, but other than those, she mostly voice acted. Her voice can be heard on many projects such as Digimon, Spider-Man (1980), South Park, and Doraemon, to name a few. Mona Marshall mainly provided young male voices in characters on both screen and video game in order for them to be older and wiser. I also read that she has a singing career, performing songs onstage, but there should be videos. She may not have puppeteered a lot but at least she worked with a few others such as Pat Brymer, Phil Baron, and Greg Ballora. At least Mona is still being active today, still voice acting & dubbing for anime and will probably keep doing it until she decides to retire. I believe Marshall will go down in history as one of the greatest anime dub actresses since she did it more many years. I also wish that she'll meet up with the Henson Company again someday and tell them all about career since she the last time she worked with them. Mona Marshall, you're a stupendous voice actress and you weren't bad at doing puppetry in the early years. I hope you'll keep on voice acting and anime dubbing until the day you retire. There isn't another voice actress who can replace you, and even if there is, you'll always be number one at the characters you created. Once again, great work Mona. Marvelous voice Marshall!
