Aurorah Allain

Image
Aurorah Allain is an actress, dancer, and choreographer whose only puppeteer work was on Muppets Tonight in the Paula Abdul episode. I don't know why she hasn't done any other Muppet projects. It's probably because Allain was more interested in dancing than puppeteering. Well maybe Aurorah can guest star as herself and do a lot of dances for the Muppets. Outside of Muppets Tonight, she's been a dancer on many films and TV shows like The Adventures of Ford Fairlane, She's Out of Control, The Jamie Foxx Show, Clerks II, and many more. Aurorah has also been a choreographer for feature films such as Aladdin, The Walking Dead, A Thin Line Between Love and Hate, and more. Allain is one of those dancers who has puppeteered with the Muppets, some of the others are Graham Fletcher, Betsy Baytos, and David Maida (to name a few). I just wish that she would do more with the Muppets since she did a great job on the Muppets Tonight episode that featured a dance number. She appea...

Cecily Faye

Image
Cecily Faye is an actress, puppeteer, stunt performer, composer, and filmmaker. Her most recent work with the Henson Company was on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Cecily has also been one of the creature performers on the Creature Shop effects film, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Faye could have done more work with both companies when she had the chance to do so. Her only outside puppetry credit is seen on a kid show called Jim Jam & Sunny. She has mostly performed stunts and did on-screen acting for many films. She did stunts for Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Warrioress, Snow White and The Huntsman, and many more. Her on-screen acting is seen in Tarzan (2013), Ten Dead Men, Intergalactic Combat, and Babes with Blades Flower of Sarnia (to name a few). For those two of the films Babes and Warrioress, Cecily has also composed, written, produced, and directed for both films. Faye seems to be one of those many people to do almost everything when it comes to film ...

Sarah Lyle

Image
Sarah Lyle is a Northern Irish actress & puppeteer who worked on Sesame Tree, the Northern Ireland co-production of Sesame Street. Her characters include one of the Weatherberries and Samson of the Bookworms. Sarah has also puppeteered on the Henson Company series Pajanimals as Cowbella and Ellie Octopus (with them interacting with each other). But how come Lyle didn't perform on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Because all of the puppeteers she has worked with on Pajanimals had also performed on that show, such as Victor Yerrid, Olly Taylor, and Donna Kimball. Being an actress, she made one-shot appearances on some BBC series like Sketchy with Diarmuid Corr, Down to Earth and Casualty. Sarah Lyle's other puppetry credit was on only one show called Bitesize and Boris. She is also a freelance writer, director, and producer for many theatre shows such as Bubble, Puss in Boots: The Panto, Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale, Chemo Express, and more. She has even performed on Liberty...

Mark Zeszotek

Image
Mark Zeszotek was a puppet designer and builder who has worked for The Jim Henson Company for two decades. He was the Muppet Supervisor for Sesame Street between the years 1995 and 1999, that ended up winning four Emmy Awards for his work on the show. During the late 1980's Mark had also been a puppeteer on Sesame Street, although he was never credited. However he did receive puppetry credit for many home videos. For films, Zeszotek served as Muppet Workshop project supervisor for The Muppet Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, & The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland. It also said that he also designed and built the Muppets when they made a special at Walt Disney World, and in The Muppet Show: On Tour and in the 2nd Edition. I wonder why Mark left both The Henson Company and Sesame Street after 1999. Something must have been wrong with his health and he had to retire to preserve it. Why hasn't Zeszotek received credit for puppeteering on Sesame Street? Even though he ...

Ernie Reyes Jr.

Image
Ernie Reyes Jr. is an actor, stuntman, and martial artist who has done stunts for the two Creature Shop movies of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. In the first movie, he was the stunt performer for Donatello while Leif Tilden did most of his other movements. For the sequel, Ernie has been promoted from the stunt performer to a leading role as pizza boy Keno, which he performed and choreographed his own stunts. I never knew that the Creature Shop was capable of hiring an actor who can do both stunts and martial arts to fit the role of a both an animatronic costume and an on-screen actor. Reyes' later works include guest spots on the TV series Charmed and V.I.P., and roles in the films Rush Hour 2, Poolhall Junkies, The Rundown, and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Maybe for all those films he has either been an actor for minor characters or a stuntman. I've read that Ernie's film debut happened when he was 13 in the action comedy The Last Comedy where he pla...

Graeme Haddon

Image
Graeme Haddon is an Australian puppeteer, director, set designer, and puppet builder. He was part of the team operating Pilot and Rygel on Farscape through part of the third season and later returned for work on Farscape: The Peacekeeper Wars. Graeme had another Creature Shop project and that was in a stage show called Pan. I don't know why Haddon didn't perform in any Henson Company show that was filmed in Australia such as Me and My Monsters and Bambaloo. He could have had that chance to direct or puppeteer with Emma de Vries, Rosalyn Oades, or David Collins, but I guess he was way happier doing what he wanted to do. Outside of Farscape, he is the founder of a puppet company called Balooga, where it specializes in puppets, sets, and shows. Graeme Haddon directed and puppeteered on Series 1 of The Wiggles, designed the sets for Hi-5, and performed on the touring arena show Walking with Dinosaurs, to name a few. Balooga has also produced many live shows such as Ninjago: Realm ...

Yvonne Stone

Image
Yvonne Stone is a puppeteer, puppet designer/builder, and director whose only work with the Henson Company was being an additional puppeteer on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Yvonne is yet another puppeteer who only worked with the Henson Company on one project. She could have done work with the Muppets like assist them in Muppets Most Wanted or assisted in their live performance at the O2 Arena. Outside of The Dark Crystal, Stone has puppeteered on a couple shows like Doodle Do, Mongrels, BBC Proms and Pompidou. Her designing and building work can only be seen on two projects Space Pirates and a short called Pop Art (she also puppeteered in). I've read that Yvonne has also been making puppets and directing puppetry for over 15 years. Some of the theatre productions she worked on include War Horse, Nation, His Dark Materials, and The Lion King (and that's only a few of them). I don't know why, but she's worked extensively for Theatre Rites when she should have ...

Fran Wright

Image
Fran Wright is a British puppeteer, body double, and possibly the sister of Sarah Wright. Perhaps her only known Henson work on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Fran served as another additional puppeteer and maybe assisted The Scroll Keeper. I don't know why she hasn't assisted the Muppets in any project along with Sarah. Wright could have assisted in films like The Muppets Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, or Muppets Most Wanted (to name a couple of them). I'm going to guess that she's younger than Sarah and is very new at puppeteering. Outside of The Dark Crystal, Fran has also worked on Star Wars: The Last Jedi (creature and droid puppeteer), Waffle the Wonder Dog, and The Enfield Haunting. Not only has she not done any Muppet projects at all, but she also didn't do enough puppetry outside of The Dark Crystal. Maybe someday Wright will assist the Muppets when they will appear in the UK again to either make a film or guest star on a talk show. Fran ...

Laura Bacon

Image
Laura Bacon is a British puppeteer and performer whose only work with the Henson Company was in The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, as an additional puppeteer. I've read on Twitter that she has also trained in puppeteering at Sesame Workshop and learned alongside veteran puppeteers. If Laura trained at Sesame Workshop, how come she didn't audition for Sesame Street too? Bacon was probably more interested in puppetry for comedy and adults. Outside of The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, she is best known for performing Patsy May, performing her on Britain's Got Talent in 2014, and in her very own 90-minute live theatre show called An Evening with Patsy May'. I didn't think she had the guts to perform one puppet for two hours. Laura Bacon also puppeteered in a London production of Avenue Q before Britain's Got Talent before doing various jobs, such as Panto, live cabaret acts, and jobs for many companies. Some of those companies include ITV, Lucasfilm, Henson (h...

Thomas Fountain

Image
Thomas Fountain is a puppeteer and marionette builder whose only Muppet work was performing the background characters on Muppets Tonight. I don't know why he hasn't worked in any other Muppet projects. Fountain could have assisted them in The Muppets (2011), The Muppets (2015), or the two live concerts at the Hollywood Bowl and the O2 Arena. Perhaps he was too busy filming during those other productions outside of Muppets. Thomas is best known as the lead puppeteer for Salem the Cat (an animatronic cat) on the Sabrina the Teenage Witch series and spin-offs. His other television show credits include Greg the Bunny, Tales from the Crypt, Toby Terrier and His Video Pals, D.C. Follies, and many more. Fountain has also performed in many films such as Worm Guy for the Men in Black films, Team America: World Police, Gone Fishin', and The Adventures of Ford Fairlane. I sure wish that he would work on more projects featuring the Muppets, even though he puppeteered background charac...
