Sarah Lyle
Sarah Lyle is a Northern Irish actress & puppeteer who worked on Sesame Tree, the Northern Ireland co-production of Sesame Street. Her characters include one of the Weatherberries and Samson of the Bookworms. Sarah has also puppeteered on the Henson Company series Pajanimals as Cowbella and Ellie Octopus (with them interacting with each other). But how come Lyle didn't perform on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. Because all of the puppeteers she has worked with on Pajanimals had also performed on that show, such as Victor Yerrid, Olly Taylor, and Donna Kimball. Being an actress, she made one-shot appearances on some BBC series like Sketchy with Diarmuid Corr, Down to Earth and Casualty. Sarah Lyle's other puppetry credit was on only one show called Bitesize and Boris. She is also a freelance writer, director, and producer for many theatre shows such as Bubble, Puss in Boots: The Panto, Rapunzel: A Tangled Tale, Chemo Express, and more. She has even performed on Liberty Days, Robin Hood, Slimmer for Christmas, and Kissing Marigolds, just to name a few. It would appear that Sarah is specialized in puppeteering, musical theatre, and singing/songwriting. That has got to be where it's where Lyle got to be a puppeteer for the Jim Henson Company and the Northern Irish co-production of Sesame Street. I hope that someday she would assist the Muppets on a project in the UK or Ireland, whenever that will be. I read that she is currently the Assistant Director and Puppet Director on Rough Girls at Lyric Theatre in Belfast, which shows that she still puppeteers. Sarah Lyle, you were great on Sesame Tree as well as Pajanimals (series version). Your friends Paul Currie, Josh Elwell, and Michael Winsor should be happy for you. I hope that you'll assist Henson Company on a future project when they need an Northern Irish puppeteer on the job. Until then, great job Sarah. Feel sunny Lyle!
