Peter Hurst
Peter Hurst is a British puppeteer who performed on numerous Creature Shop projects during the mid-1990s. He puppeteered on The Adventures of Pinocchio, Buddy, George of the Jungle, and Lost in Space, with other performers such as Pons Maar, Julianne Buescher, Bruce Lanoil, and Gil Correa. In 1998, Peter also made an appearance with John Wheatley in a short film called Diabolical Properties, made by fellow Muppet performer David Barclay. Other projects Hurst did include Woof, Dangerfield, and Ghost Ship, the latter as a miniature maker with the company Photon VFX. Nothing else is known about this puppeteer in recent years, at least not yet anyway. At least he got to perform with several Muppet performers during his time with the Creature Shop since they've done numerous projects with the company as well. Maybe at some point in the future, there will be more info about Peter Hurst, like what he's done in recent years. I just hope he's still alive and active in the film industry or at least in general. You never know when people will be discovered by someone who recognizes their work and such, especially puppeteers or fans who felt the nostalgia. I believe Peter did a fine job on all those Creature Shop films mentioned above, there's no way he can forget the experience. Hurst is probably one of those puppeteers who have only performed for a certain number of years. If he isn't, then that's a good sign that he still performs for films and TV. Never underestimate someone who hasn't been given more profile online. If he ever does get more info on his page of the Muppet Wiki, I'm sure more people will want to know more about him. Peter Hurst, you were a great performer with the Creature Shop during the 1990s. I hope you still remember how much fun you had working with the iconic puppeteers on all of those productions. And if you're still around, keep being active until you've had enough in show business. You're so mythical Peter. Peace out Hurst!
