Leonie Wall

Leonie Wall is a British actress, puppeteer, singer, and children's entertainer who performs live on stage and on television. Some of the live shows she did include Flat Earth, Treasure Island, and other shows by Panto. As for puppetry, Leonie's only known show is Dodge's Pup School as one of the many additional puppeteers, performing alongside Warrick Brownlow-Pike, Andy Heath, Katherine Smee, Rebecca Nagan, and Phil Fletcher, to name a few. Wall should have more credits listed online so people will know what other projects she acted, sang, or puppeteered on throughout her career. At least on Dodge's Pup School, she got to work with numerous puppeteers that did Henson and Creature Shop productions. She does have an Instagram account where she regularly posts her highlights and such, that's one way how people will get to know her more for what she does. Leonie Wall is probably considered a newcomer performer since she only started doing so a couple years ago, which I must say she's making great progress. Hopefully as time goes on, she'll get to do more puppetry projects for television/theatre, and who knows, maybe she'll do a Creature Shop production. You never know when the company will make a new production in the UK again. Until that happens, Leonie should continue performing on stage and screen, so she'll gain a larger recognition like all of the puppeteers she worked on Dodge's Pup School. Even at this moment, Wall still does an excellent job and has learned from the best. Maybe she'll influence other newcomer performers to be like her and make the country and the world happy with new productions. One small step can lead to another until you reach the top and you've accomplished a goal. Leonie Wall, for a newcomer, you are doing a fabulous job so far. You're also making great progress as a puppeteer as seen with Dodge. Keep performing so that you will earn yourself your own puppet character on that show or a future puppetry project. In the meantime, keep at it, Leonie. I'm sure Brownlow-Pike and the other puppeteers have total confidence in you Wall!

June Privett

Image
June Privett is a puppeteer, puppet designer, and builder who is best known for performing on the Baby Einstein videos. She worked alongside her husband Dave Privett on the videos and also at their puppet company PlaySoup, which made the puppets. June and her husband replaced Markie Scholz since more puppets were probably needed during the later video series. Privett appears to have done wonderful as an entertainer for babies since she's done numerous videos until the series ended. Afterwards, she and her husband have been introducing many innovations at PlaySoup such as the Toobie puppets. The two also sell their puppets to people, sort of like Steve Axtell at Axtell Expressions, he also sells puppets for people to use in their acts. Though I wish June Privett would've met a Muppet performer from Sesame Street for they did their own project for babies, Sesame Beginnings. Since 2018, she and her husband sold their company to another couple, Kristofer and Amanda Sommerfeld, two ...

Gavin Sainsbury is an Australian puppeteer, prop master, and mechanist who puppeteered on a couple of Henson Company projects such as Bambaloo, Farscape, and the stage show Pan. He got to work with several performers on the former two such as Fiona Gentle, Mat McCoy, Roslyn Oades, Sean Masterson and more. It's a good thing Gavin has a resume and work account, so anybody who wants to know about him, can look up online and read his projects. Some of the outside projects Sainsbury puppeteered on include The Wiggles, Raggs, New MacDonald's Farm, When Good Ghouls Go Bad, and most notably, the Walking with Dinosaurs Arena Spectacular. In addition to puppetry, he also provided standby props for Hi-5 and was a machinist and stage manager for numerous live shows. His endorses have included Paul McGinnis and Graeme Haddon who directed him on some of the projects listed. Gavin Sainsbury seems to be highly skilled at both regular puppets as well as animatronic puppets which earned him the ...

Brock Winkless

Image
Brock Winkless was a puppeteer and visual effects technician, best known for being the puppeteer of Chucky in the Child's Play franchise and the Crypt Keeper on Tales from the Crypt. A magazine stated that he understood lip-syncing of a puppet's mouth movements which gave him the skill to puppeteer his characters to vocal tracks. Brock frequently worked with director and make-up artist Kevin Yagher on many projects, such as the Child's Play series, the Crypt Keeper, and the film Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. Winkless also collaborated with other studios for make-up and visual effects throughout his career, including Animated FX Inc., owned by Norman Tempia. Other films he puppeteered in over the years have included Death Becomes Her, Man's Best Friend, Congo, The X-Files, and Dr. Dolittle 2. But no matter what films he does he'll always be known for being both Chucky and the Crypt Keeper since he's done both roles for years. Apart from doing puppetry, Brock Winkless...
