Jane Pickworth

Jane Pickworth is a British puppeteer, voice actress, and visual artist who has done numerous productions since 1992. She trained with the Jim Henson Company in 2002 and later served as an additional performer on The Furchester Hotel with others like Mikey Brett, Emily Morus-Jones, and Dilpreet Kaur Walia. Jane even puppeteered Tutter for a Bear in the Big Blue House: Surprise Party live show in 2003. Some of the other shows Pickworth puppeteered on include Fun Song Factory, Bad Penny, Roly Mo Live Show, and Litter Things Matter. As a voice actress, her voice can be heard on numerous television and radio shows like Numtums, Love Monster, My Friend Maisy, and many other promos, commercials, and Audible book series. She seems to be so versatile when it comes to creating characters out of her voice. Jane Pickworth also did visual arts for shows like Tweenies, MacDonald's Farm, Doodle Do, and Supertato as either floor manager, art director, or a designer. In addition to performing on television, she also worked in the theatre on tours such as Barnum, Playdays & Rainbow Days in Nursery Rhyme Land, and numerous productions in the Millfield Theatre. It would seem that she is full of talent and highly skilled in performing in many different ways as well as contributing to productions artistically. It's a shame though that Jane didn't serve as an additional performer on The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, she would've reunited with her fellow co-workers. Pickworth knows what it takes to entertain the world with her puppetry, voice acting, and art skills. Let's hope she continues to use all of those skills for the near future. She should also be honored to be a part of the revival show for Maisy, the classic children's book. Jane Pickworth, you sure showed the world what masterful skills you've got. Since the 1990s, you've entertained children of all ages as well as impressed adults with your visual arts and your designs. Keep up the wonderful career and always remember the pleasure you had performing on an international co-production of Sesame Street. Until then, continue to be amazing at performing and visual arts Jane. Your educational background paid off Pickworth!
