Avery Jones

Avery Jones is a puppeteer and puppet builder who is best known for puppeteering Slappy the Dummy in the Goosebumps film series as well as voicing the character for appearances. On Sesame Street, he mostly served as an uncredited additional performer during the 46th season of the show. Avery is also best known for designing, building, and performing puppets and costumes for Big Heater Media, as well as writing, graphic designing, and editing. The puppets Jones made can be seen across the country, on television, and in theaters both community and regional, as well as on a podcast. Some of the other TV shows he worked on, besides Sesame Street, include The Mitchi & Vlad Show, Lonnie's Olympic Journey, and many other shows. As for theatre, he worked at Springer Opera House Arts Association, New Horizon Community Theatre, Aubern Area Community Theatre, and Lagrange Society for the Performing Arts. Avery Jones is probably one of the busiest people in show business considering all of the companies and projects he did over the years, listed above. It's a shame he only did one season of Sesame Street, but then again, he's got bigger opportunities during his time working for stage and screen. I also think it's incredible how he was able to pick up the characteristics of Slappy the Dummy in the Goosebumps franchise, a role originally done by Ron Stefaniuk on the original series. Who knows what more tricks Avery has up his sleeves when his next big project comes? Jones should be proud to have done so much to the world with his puppets, costumes, and projects produced with his creations. And he should always remember how much of an honor it was doing one season of Sesame Street. Every puppeteer who only did a singular season of that show should always keep it in their memories and their hearts. Avery Jones, you were fantastic as Slappy in the Goosebumps films and you're still doing great at all of the companies you work at now. Keep up the marvelous work so you'll go down in history as one of the busiest puppeteers to this day, you never know when that'll happen. Brock Winkless

Brock Winkless was a puppeteer and visual effects technician, best known for being the puppeteer of Chucky in the Child's Play franchise and the Crypt Keeper on Tales from the Crypt. A magazine stated that he understood lip-syncing of a puppet's mouth movements which gave him the skill to puppeteer his characters to vocal tracks. Brock frequently worked with director and make-up artist Kevin Yagher on many projects, such as the Child's Play series, the Crypt Keeper, and the film Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. Winkless also collaborated with other studios for make-up and visual effects throughout his career, including Animated FX Inc., owned by Norman Tempia. Other films he puppeteered in over the years have included Death Becomes Her, Man's Best Friend, Congo, The X-Files, and Dr. Dolittle 2. Gavin Sainsbury

Gavin Sainsbury is an Australian puppeteer, prop master, and mechanist who puppeteered on a couple of Henson Company projects such as Bambaloo, Farscape, and the stage show Pan. He got to work with several performers on the former two such as Fiona Gentle, Mat McCoy, Roslyn Oades, Sean Masterson and more. It's a good thing Gavin has a resume and work account, so anybody who wants to know about him, can look up online and read his projects. Some of the outside projects Sainsbury puppeteered on include The Wiggles, Raggs, New MacDonald's Farm, When Good Ghouls Go Bad, and most notably, the Walking with Dinosaurs Arena Spectacular.
