Patrick Comerford

Patrick Comerford is a British puppeteer who has performed on numerous Henson productions, though mostly uncredited. He performed on Muppet Treasure Island, 101 Dalmatians, Lost in Space, and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, uncredited on the former two. Patrick should have been credited on the Muppet film because he got to work with the legendary Muppet performers like Jerry Nelson and Dave Goelz. Comerford is more well-known outside of Henson, doing productions such as Spitting Image, The Spooks of Bottle Bay, Seed of Chucky, and several Star Wars films as a creature and droid puppeteer. He also co-founded the puppet company Global Puppeteering Services with Barnaby Harrison and together they performed different types of puppets for different productions. Other films he did include E.T. and Babe: Pig in the City while television include Wizadora, The Big Garage, Dog and Duck, and more. With the company and his performing partner, Patrick Comerford has spent over two decades working with lots of industries across the world from the US to Australia to the Czech Republic. He should be proud to have made a good friend who's worked with him over the years in his career. The duo also worked on numerous commercials on long running campaigns for brands like Colman's Sauces, Flymo, I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, and many others. I think Patrick should've performed on Muppets Most Wanted because of how much action and complicated scenes there were in the film. But Comerford was probably too occupied at Global Puppeteering Services to do more Henson productions, until The Dark Crystal prequel series. He's probably still working with Barnaby Harrison today on upcoming projects. You never know when a new puppet series will come into play, whether it ends up short-lived or long running. It's a shame you weren't credited for most of your projects with Henson, but at least your archived website knows it all.
