Leah Leddy
Leah Leddy is a puppeteer and suit performer who performed Beauregard in the original run of the live stage show The Muppet Show: On Tour. She only did the body performance to a pre-recorded track by Dave Goelz, which makes sense because it's hard to voice a character within a walk-around. Leah also puppeteered on the Chiodo Brothers kid show The Crayon Box, as one of the additional puppeteers. Some of the other puppeteers Leddy worked with include Dina Fraboni, Todd Mattox, Len Levitt, and Kristin Charney, to name a few. It's a shame there's hardly a lot of information about her online, nor an image of the correct person, only images of those with the same name, like the one above. At least she worked with a bunch of Muppet performers on an outside project, though technically The Muppet Show: On Tour does count as a live Muppet production. Still, it must've been tiring for Leah Leddy to have to perform a walk-around character live on stage as it can get hot inside. But you got to admit, the costumes and heads were made by professionals, so they could've worked something out. Even though The Crayon Box was short lived, it still gave her a chance to work a puppet and not wear a heavy walk-around costume. I'll bet Leah was thrilled to perform on a production by the Chiodo Brothers (probably their only kid-friendly show made by them). Leddy should get interviewed on a podcast or something, so people will know exactly what other productions she worked on over the years. It might not happen though because nobody knows if she's dead or still alive, at least not yet. But once someone finds out more about her and gets a proper image of her, then it's worth the interview. Leah Leddy, you are yet another puppeteer to be mysterious to the public, after the productions you've worked on of course. If you're still around, maybe think about getting yourself recognized again and not be mistaken by another person of the same name. There's no reason for a performer to be mysterious to the public after a certain time you know. Until then, keep performing Leah. You've outdone yourself this time Leddy!
