Eugene Lambert

Eugene Lambert was an Irish puppeteer and actor as well as the father of puppeteers Miriam and Paula Lambert. He was the owner of Lambert Puppet Theatre and was well-known for performing co-star O'Brien in the shows Wanderly Wagon and Murphy and Friends. In addition to those programs, Eugene was also a ventriloquist, performing vaudeville acts with two of his puppet characters; Finnegan and Judge. Lambert seems to have brought a lot of humor among the Ireland citizens during the 1960s. With his family, they created The Lambert Puppet Theatre in 1972 upon inspiration from visiting The Harlequin Puppet Theatre and an International Puppet Festival in Prague. His company was also best-known for creating the puppet character Bosco which his daughters Miriam then Paula performed. Throughout his job, Eugene Lambert went on tours with his character Finnegan, starting out in the UK and Ireland during the early years before branching out into the US, Japan, and Australia in later years. It's a shame he never met nor heard of any Muppet performers during his tours across the world and neither did anyone in his family. But at least he got inspiration to make his own puppet company from other companies, just like lots of puppeteers get inspiration by seeing acts themselves. Sadly, Eugene's life came to an end as he died in February 2010 at his home at an old age, with a mini Wanderly Wagon seen at his funeral. On the bright side, Lambert was survived by his children, well, two of his puppeteer daughters kept the company going until it closed. And even though the puppet company no longer runs, he will never be forgotten for how much laughter he brought to Ireland and eventually half of the world. It's nice to know that members of the family keep a business going if they work there too. Eugene Lambert, you were a splendid puppeteer, and you've amused everyone with your ventriloquist acts with Finnegan and Judge. The company may be no more, but it will never be forgotten by anyone in the world. Wanderly Wagon will always remain the best-known production by your company as well as the character Bosco. You've done an excellent job bringing to life an iconic puppet Eugene. Rest in peace and keep watching from above Lambert!

Brock Winkless

Brock Winkless was a puppeteer and visual effects technician, best known for being the puppeteer of Chucky in the Child's Play franchise and the Crypt Keeper on Tales from the Crypt. A magazine stated that he understood lip-syncing of a puppet's mouth movements which gave him the skill to puppeteer his characters to vocal tracks. Brock frequently worked with director and make-up artist Kevin Yagher on many projects, such as the Child's Play series, the Crypt Keeper, and the film Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. Winkless also collaborated with other studios for make-up and visual effects throughout his career, including Animated FX Inc., owned by Norman Tempia. Other films he puppeteered in over the years have included Death Becomes Her, Man's Best Friend, Congo, The X-Files, and Dr. Dolittle 2. Melissa King

Melissa King is an Australian puppeteer, actress, voice actress, and director who guest puppeteered on Farscape alongside other Australian puppeteers. She is known for performing with various theatres over the years in her career like Riverina Theatre Co, Belvoir St. Joining Terrapin Puppet Theatre, Blue Cow Theatre, and lots more. Melissa did more than a dozen shows both nationally and internationally which got her nominated in the best actor category for her role in The Riddle of Washpool Gully. King also got to puppeteer with kid band The Wiggles in The Wiggles Movie and series one, alongside others such as Edward Rooke, Gavin Sainsbury, Sheryl Talmage, and Larissa Deak.
