Emaley Rose

Emaley Rose is a stage actress, puppeteer, and voiceover artist who was the understudy for several of the Muppets and the sole human performer on Sesame Street: The Musical (2023 run). She mentioned in an interview that she is a self-taught puppeteer, while giving James Ortiz and Finn Caldwell credit. Emaley also puppeteered on other stage shows such as The Artist Who Painted a Blue Horse, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show, and The Eric Carle Story Show. Rose also does voiceover work for animation, video games and apps, podcasts, and commercials, according to her website. Some of the voice acting credits include Little Women, Dragonfly Kids Chronicles, Weeping Cedars, and many others. Other performers she got to work with include Yanniv Frank, Vicki Oceguera, and Arlee Chadwick, to name a few. Some of the stage acting credits Emaley Rose did include Stephen Schwartz: Live in Concert, Miss Bennet, The Wizard of Oz, and Romeo and Juliet. Not only is she talented at puppetry but she's also a master of stage acting since she got to do some regional theatre and well-known concerts. It's no wonder she was chosen to be one of the performers during the 2023 off-Broadway run of Sesame Street: The Musical. I'm also impressed that Emaley managed to teach herself puppetry, even though she had some training from two puppeteers through meeting rooms and their shows. Still, Rose is considered one of those many people to learn how to puppeteer all by herself. I hope she'll be interviewed again because there's so much performer info worth sharing to the world. You never know when that will happen to someone like her. Emaley Rose, you've done wonderful on Sesame Street: The Musical and all of those other Rockefeller productions. If anything, you should inspire other young people who are interested in puppetry through your shows, that is if they wanted of course. Until then, keep on performing for many theatrical productions whether it's puppetry or stage acting or voiceover work. Well played Emaley. You're an inspiration to all of us Rose!
