Robert Bennett
Robert Bennett is a puppet builder, designer, sculptor, and painter who has been working at the Creature Shop since 2014, when he earned the position after Jim Henson's Creature Shop Challenge. His credits include Turkey Hollow, The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, Earth to Ned, Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock, and more. Robert was also a utility puppeteer on Five Night's at Freddy's, working with Andrea Detwiler and Andrea Gilletti. Bennett had different work experiences at various theme parks in America such as SeaWorld (as a costume designer), Universal Studios (as a sculptor for the Harry Potter area), and as a Walt Disney Imagineer, suit performer, and scenic artist. I'll bet he felt really excited when he first got started at the Creature Shop since he won the competition series, pity the show ended after one season. But still, it's a great honor for him to join the Creature Shop team and work on many projects that involves puppets, costumes, and/or animatronics. Hopefully, Robert Bennett will influence several other designers to come and try out for the Creature Shop and show off their puppet building skills. You never know when something like that will happen, or if it ever will happen. Other team members he got to work with include Scott Johnson, John Criswell, Melissa Creighton, and Brian Henson. I should say that Robert has a pretty good future ahead of himself since he's still working in the shop to this day and making new characters. All of those theme parks Bennett worked at really paid off as well since he's been doing them for many years. He's definitely a part of the Creature Shop family now, but technically he has been a part of the family since earning that position in 2014. There's just isn't anything this man can't do, except when the job is tricky. Robert Bennett, you're a master in the world of puppet arts since 2014 and you still are to this day. Keep up the great work in the Creature Shop, because that's currently what you do best. And if someone were to retire from their position, you should help hire newbies. It might not happen, but you never know until it does. Fantastic puppets Robert. You rock Bennett!
