Gwen Hollander

Gwen Hollander is an actress, puppeteer, and writer who is known for performing in musical theatres in New York. As an actress, she appeared on-camera in The Mystery Files of Shelby Woo, From the Earth to the Moon, Acting School Academy, and more. Gwen is also known for her work on Kidding, where she appeared on-screen as Sheryl, in-suit as Astronotter, and being a puppeteer. Hollander also worked as a puppeteer on Avenue Q, The Astonishing Show Show!, and GLOP. She got to perform alongside a bunch of other puppeteers such as Adrian Rose, Edi Patterson, Stoph Scheer, and Michelle Zamora, all within the company GLOP. It's a shame she hasn't performed in any Henson Company productions, well not yet, you never know when she will. Gwen Hollander has also written for a television series called Dog Therapist as well as numerous shorts (ex. A Song for Jenny). At least with GLOP, she got to meet a whole lot of female Muppet performers, and she probably met male Muppet performers while working on Kidding. Hopefully in the future she'll get to do a Henson Company production and meet the legends themselves at The Muppets Studio sometime. But probably acting on screen and stage is Gwen's highest quality as she's been doing it longer than doing puppetry and writing, at least to my knowledge. Maybe there's a chance for Hollander to puppeteer on stage again, whatever and whenever that is. Meanwhile, she should continue acting for many shows and working with GLOP. She's really working on puppetry within the company since it's helping her get better at her puppetry skills. Gwen Hollander, you're great at acting and you're also doing well at puppetry. Keep up the great work so that you'll be recognized by fans across America by your acting chops and whatnot. As long as you stay active in the entertainment industry, you'll always be a star.
