Edi Patterson

Edi Patterson is an actress, writer, comedian, and voice actress who is known for acting and voice acting on numerous projects over the years. She is also a puppeteer with GLOP (Glorious Ladies of Puppetry) where she met others like Gwen Hollander, Adrian Rose, Donna Kimball, and Colleen Smith. Edi lent her voice to many animated series such as We Bare Bears, Mike Tyson Mysteries, The Fungies, and Ten Year Old Tom, to name a few. Patterson also appeared on-camera in several television and film projects such as Partners, The Underground, Black-ish, Vice Principals, Troop Zero, and Plan B. As a writer, she provided scripts for The Underground, The Righteous Gemstones, and two episodes of Saturday Night Live. However, she is best known for being a member of Groundlings Main Comedy, performing there regularly in sketch comedy and improv shows. Edi Patterson is also a member of the legendary Impro Theatre, performing in completely improvised, full-length plays across many American theatres. It's a shame that with all of those acting skills, she only puppeteered with GLOP. Hopefully that company has given her puppetry training so that she'll know how to puppeteer when doing a puppet project. And who knows, maybe Edi will get to perform on a Henson Company project in the future, you can never tell what that company plans next. But even if Patterson won't be selected, she at least got to experience the art of puppetry within GLOP, as well as meet female Muppet performers. Acting seems to be her main passion in the world of entertainment as she's been doing so since the mid-1990s. She'll probably keep on acting and writing, but hopefully, she'll put her puppetry skills to the test. Edi Patterson, you're swell at acting in all forms, voice-acting, improv, etc. But don't forget that as a member of GLOP, you've got to keep on doing puppetry, so you'll get better when you get chosen to do a puppet project. Meanwhile, keep on performing because that's what you do best. Great acting Edi. That's show biz Patterson!
