Anna Wang

Anna Wang is an actress, puppeteer, author, and voice actress who is a performer for GLOP, where she met a lot of female Muppet performers. She is also an alumnus of the Jim Henson Company Puppeteer Fellowship, which I must say is very impressive for her. As a puppeteer, Anna is known for her work on Hanna Rochelle, Radical Cram School, and Sandwiched; she was also a writer, producer, and a music director for the former two. As for voice acting, Wang narrated the Monster Diary series and lent her voice for many commercials for brands like Learning A-Z, Nationwide, and Huntington, just to name a few. I'm glad she got to train with the Henson Company in the past, but I personally wish she would've performed on a Henson project, though technically GLOP used Henson Company puppets. Other GLOP performers she worked with include Edi Patterson, Gwen Hollander, Adrian Rose, and many others. If it's possible, GLOP should make a project, and Anna Wang would be perfect for a role of some kind, it might not happen, but you never know. She also acted on-screen within The Proverb and Contemplating Annie, though many of her other acting credits can be found on YouTube videos. I hope in the future, she'll get to perform on a Henson Company production, after all she did train with that company. Anna must be proud to be a part of GLOP with the other female puppeteers in the United States and United Kingdom. Wang is definitely considered artistic when it comes to being an author and performing artist too, whatever books she wrote. I certainly hope the book that she wrote called Auntie Kristina's Guide to Asian American Activism will become popular when released. She would definitely be a role model for Asian Americans that are treated unfairly in the US, you never know. Anna Wang, you are wonderful at both puppetry and acting as you got popular videos out of them. I'm also impressed that you're able to write a book about your culture. Keep on performing and maybe soon the Henson Company will ask you to come back and perform on a future project. Until then, be cool Anna. Be a queen Wang!
