Terry Fator
Terry Fator is a ventriloquist, impressionist, singer, and comedian who is known for combining all of his talents into one. He is perhaps best known for being the winner of America's Got Talent during the second season where he performed an act with Kermit the Frog himself. Terry also has his own Kermit puppet in which he uses in some of his shows, telling jokes and singing Rainbow Connection. Fator's career got boosted following his big win on America's Got Talent, for he headlined shows in Las Vegas, initially at Mirage Las Vegas and currently New York-New York Hotel and Casino. It must have been a dream come true for him to do a song with the real Kermit the Frog, even listing the latter's creator Jim Henson as his biggest hero, surpassing Edger Bergan, Shari Lewis, and others. In addition to his own Kermit puppet, he also has three dummies: Winston the Impersonating Turtle, Johnny Vegas, and Walter T. Airedale. It seems to me that America's Got Talent made Terry Fator the hilarious performer he is to this day, it's no wonder he was chosen to headline Las Vegas shows. In addition to Kermit, he also met Miss Piggy (via video message), Animal, Beaker, and The Swedish Chef, the latter three as judges. He also made television appearances, published his own autobiography, and even lent his voice to Disney's Mickey Mouse shorts as a random character. Terry is still performing in Las Vegas today as mentioned above, and I'm sure he'll never forget the day he performed with Kermit and won. Fator should consider taking his act across the world so everyone will enjoy his comedic skills, ventriloquism performance, & singing chops. And who knows, maybe he'll serve as a role model to young people who are into comedy or ventriloquism, not to mention doing impressions. But no matter who gets influenced by him, no one can ever replace a guy who can combine ventriloquism with comedy and singing. Terry Fator, you're a true legend now since your win on America's Got Talent. Keep on performing so you will go down in history. You are definitely irreplaceable in Las Vegas. Magnificent work Terry. Viva la Fator!
