Larissa Deak

Larissa Deak is an Australian puppeteer, artist, designer, and arts worker who worked with a bunch of Creature Shop puppeteers on Series 1 of The Wiggles. She got to work with Graeme Haddon, Melissa King, Gavin Sainsbury, and Mat McCoy on the puppet segments of that show. Larissa has also been one of the committee members of UNIMA Australia since 2021, according to her LinkedIn profile. Deak did lots of stuff as an arts worker over the years such as designing and delivering creative programs for lots of venues such as theatre companies. She is also one of those puppeteers to be experienced tour guides, where she gave Public Art walking tours at the Museum of Brisbane. She must have felt honored to be one of the puppeteers on a series starring The Wiggles back in 1997-1998 when production happened to take place. I wonder what other productions Larissa Deak puppeteered on throughout her career. Maybe she was uncredited on the Creature Shop series Farscape, you never know when that kind of info will be found. Though it must be hard for her to be an arts worker because doing lots of tasks such as creating and coordinating creative programs across must be tiring. Did Larissa meet other puppeteers from other parts of the world as a member of UNIMA? I'm sure Deak will get another chance to puppeteer on a TV production or something in the future, but still, she's doing fantastic as an arts worker. She may not have done any Creature Shop project, but she has met Australian puppeteers who did. Maybe her arts worker profession will encourage other people to follow in her footsteps, you just never know. Larissa Deak, I'd say you're a natural in the arts department whether it's doing puppetry or not. I hope you still remember what an honor it was to work with the legendary Australian band, even if it wasn't direct exactly. Keep on being artistic and being a member of UNIMA. Excellent Larissa. Gordon Robertson

Gordon Robertson is a Canadian puppeteer who has performed on and off with the Muppets for many years. His most notable work with them was on Fraggle Rock as the body of Pa Gorg and various other characters on the series. Gordon has also performed with the Muppets on The Jim Henson Hour, The Muppets: A Celebration of 30 Years, The Muppets Wizard of Oz, and more. Robertson even performed on the Sesame Street film Follow That Bird and it's Canadian co-production Sesame Park. His Creature Shop work has placed him on TNMT II, The Neverending Story, and Cats & Dogs. Outside of his work with the Muppets, he performed with Shari Lewis on Lamb Chop's Play-Along and The Charlie Horse Music Pizza. Claire Roi Harvey

Claire Roi Harvey is a puppeteer and performer whose only Henson Company show she ever worked on was The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. I don't know why she hasn't performed in other Henson projects or even assisted the Muppets for Muppets Most Wanted. Clare has been a puppeteer for film, TV, theatre, and commercials. Outside of The Dark Crystal, she has worked on various other projects such as Feeling Better, three Star Wars films, and Doctor Who, to name a couple. She must have been pretty lucky to work with many creature/puppeteer teams bringing incredible characters to life. Harvey at least had a chance to perform with many Muppet puppeteers such as Damian Farrell, Brian Herring, Dave Chapman and many more.
