Travis Frost
Travis Frost is a German puppeteer who has served as an occasional Muppet performer on the German co-production of Sesame Street, Sesamstrasse since 2011. For the show and its related media, he played various minor characters, did additional right-handing, and occasionally performed Cookie Monster and Elmo. During the 40th anniversary, Travis co-developed and taught a puppetry workshop for children, touring Germany from 2012-2013. It would appear that Frost is more than an occasional assistant on the show and its related media since he played Cookie Monster in a behind the scenes documentary and the 40th anniversary episode. Not much is known about this performer outside of Sesamstrasse, at least not yet. Apparently, this puppeteer is mostly recognized for doing the show and its related media like Eine Mohre fur Zwei for example. But I wonder how Travis Frost learned to speak German since he is from Salt Lake City, Utah before moving to Germany to perform on Sesamstrasse. He probably took courses before the move or maybe he studied the language in college maybe. Even so, he's still doing wonderful on Sesamstrasse and its related media since joining the crew, even though it's mostly occasional. Travis should consider being a full-time performer on the show and get his own main character. Frost has done Cookie Monster a couple of times so maybe in the future, he'll perform the monster full-time. But that's only an option, he probably has a busy schedule outside which makes sense. Until he does get a main character, he should continue performing minor characters and right-handing too. Travis Frost, you've really become a pro on Sesamstrasse since joining in 2011. Keep on performing on the show and related media with your friends like Uta Jacobi, Charlie Kaiser, Iris Schleuss, and many others. You'll become one of the main performers in no time, I'm sure. Until then, great work Travis. Give a hand Frost!
