Chris Ostwald

Chris Ostwald is a British mechanical designer who served as one of the cable control puppeteers in the Creature Shop film Dreamchild. Other cable control operators he worked with in that film include Cas Willing, Mike Osborn, Sadie Corre, and Chris Eveleigh, to name a few. Chris also got to meet legendary puppeteers while working on that film, most notably Steve Whitmire and Karen Prell. Ostwald should have done more projects with the Creature Shop as either puppeteer or mechanical designer like within Labyrinth or The Witches. Outside, his only known film credits were Return to Oz and Little Shop of Horrors as a chief mechanical designer for both. Nobody seems to know whatever happened to him way after the 1980s where he did all three films mentioned above. Chris Ostwald doesn't even have a proper bio of himself anywhere online, at least not yet. Maybe this photo is his self-portrait, but you can never be too sure if it is. At least he got to work on one Creature Shop film while Jim Henson was still alive as well as work on a Frank Oz film. Hopefully at some point in the future, Chris will be interviewed, and he will reveal what other productions he worked on after those 1980s films. A news article identified Ostwald as a "racist", where this pic is from, but it's probably a different citizen of the same name. It is not every day you research two or more people who have the same first and last name. Hopefully it does not cause any confusion for researchers. Chris Ostwald, even though you only did one Creature Shop, I'd say it's worth it because you got to meet legendary puppeteers. You've also done great as mechanical designer for two very popular films featuring Henson Company crew members. Wherever you are, keep on doing whatever it is you're doing at this moment. You're swell Chris. Just avoid haters Ostwald!

Gordon Robertson

Gordon Robertson is a Canadian puppeteer who has performed on and off with the Muppets for many years. His most notable work with them was on Fraggle Rock as the body of Pa Gorg and various other characters on the series. Gordon has also performed with the Muppets on The Jim Henson Hour, The Muppets: A Celebration of 30 Years, The Muppets Wizard of Oz, and more. Robertson even performed on the Sesame Street film Follow That Bird and it's Canadian co-production Sesame Park. His Creature Shop work has placed him on TNMT II, The Neverending Story, and Cats & Dogs. Outside of his work with the Muppets, he performed with Shari Lewis on Lamb Chop's Play-Along and The Charlie Horse Music Pizza. Claire Roi Harvey

Claire Roi Harvey is a puppeteer and performer whose only Henson Company show she ever worked on was The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. I don't know why she hasn't performed in other Henson projects or even assisted the Muppets for Muppets Most Wanted. Clare has been a puppeteer for film, TV, theatre, and commercials. Outside of The Dark Crystal, she has worked on various other projects such as Feeling Better, three Star Wars films, and Doctor Who, to name a couple. She must have been pretty lucky to work with many creature/puppeteer teams bringing incredible characters to life. Harvey at least had a chance to perform with many Muppet puppeteers such as Damian Farrell, Brian Herring, Dave Chapman and many more.
