Cat Rock
Cat Rock is a puppeteer, filmmaker, artist, and puppet builder who has numerous projects in all of those fields, though she hasn't done any Muppet projects. However, she performed on the Coldplay Biutyful UK Tour which featured puppets made by the Henson Company with performers. Cat also met one of the puppeteers who have worked with the Muppets, Grant Baciocco, via his puppet podcast. Rock has performed internationally for years, working with numerous companies and industry professionals like Trigger Stuff and The Paper Cinema. She is also a founding member of the puppet film company known as House of Funny Noises where she creates puppetry films and weird media. As puppeteer, she worked on numerous live performances and screen media like Unlucky, Count Duckula Live, and Where Did the Bats Go, to name a few. As puppet builder, Cat Rock made puppets for several projects like Five Children and It, Dungeons and Dragons (2023 film), Climate Carnival, and at her company, which she also performs and directs the productions. I wish she would show off her talents to Muppet performers other than Baciocco, that way she could become a friend of theirs as well. Based on her web bio, she is probably the first puppeteer who likes showing the public something they've never seen before. That makes Cat a very unusual performer and filmmaker, but then again, I could be wrong. Let's hope Rock will continue to work at House of Funny Noises since it's where she can be in charge of her own works and such. Maybe someday she will meet another Muppet performer, you never know when that will happen, for they are spread out across the world. In the meantime, she's doing wonderful. Cat Rock, you are considered the most bizarre puppeteer and filmmaker based on your bio. Keep on working at House of Funny Noises as well as with other companies and professionals. Nobody will expect what you will cook up next, and that's good for you. Until then, great projects Cat. You're unpredictable Rock!
