Helen King

Helen King is a British-born Canadian actress, voice actress, puppeteer, and singer who is best known for lending her voice to various animated series. Her only known puppetry role was on a show called Me Too, as the cotton ball-like Fluffy. Otherwise, Helen has mostly voice acted on many Canadian kid shows like Potatoes and Dragons, Jacques Cousteau's Ocean Tales, Ranger Rob, and Dot., to name a few. The latter show King did was made by the Henson Company though it was one of their animated productions than puppet ones. Some of the other animated shows she did were one-time like Arthur, Totally Spies!, Mona the Vampire, Caillou, and more. She should have done some other productions featuring puppetry because doing more will help her get better at it. Helen King has met one voice actor who also puppeteers and that's James Rankin who did some Henson Company projects. In addition to television, she also acted in some films and lent her voice to the video game Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones. Some of the films she did were The Ghosts Of Dickens' Past, Still Life, and Wedding Night, the former was probably her first acting role. Though I wish Helen would do more puppetry when more shows involving that topic will be produced, because she's been stated as a puppeteer too. Maybe soon King will have her chance to do one, maybe a Henson Company show/short. You never know when she'll be called in by the company to do a future production. Her latest shows/games include Glowbies, Another Life, and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. Helen King, despite you're limited puppetry, you're still considered a great voice actress since you've done the latter for years. I hope that you'll meet Muppet performers someday and will get to show off your puppetry again. It might not happen, but you never can be too sure. You've got such a magnificent voice Helen. Keep up the swell vocal work King!
