Kelly Vrooman

Kelly Vrooman is an actress, puppeteer, singer, dancer, and writer who is best known for doing various programming blocks on PBS Kids Sprout (now called Universal Kids). She was one of the hosts of The Sunny Side Up Show from 2007-2013, performed Patty on The Sprout Sharing Show, and was both an actor and writer on The Chica Show. Before Sprout, Kelly had a successful theatre and also commercial career with leading roles in plays like Fiddler on the Roof. Vrooman is also a member of the excellent improv comedy troupe called Comedy Sportz. Other puppeteers she worked with include Jack Venturo, Stacia Newcomb, Kevin Yamada, and Ali J. Eisner, to name a few. Her other acting works include Wait, Rekindled, Invisible Virtual Table Read, and Bot Harmony, she wrote for those too. Kelly Vrooman had been very popular with children and, with Forrest Harding as Chica, got to appear with many characters from several children shows, including Sesame Street. Her recent projects include Warped! and Tuttle Twins, writing and voice acting for the latter. There's even photographic proof of her puppeteering on The Sprout Sharing show online, if you look it up on Google Images. Kelly is still doing wonderful for television today with her work on Tuttle Twins. Let's hope Vrooman is still remembering how much fun she had working on Sprout for many years and appearing with many kid show characters. There is not another network that does that anymore. But you never know. Kelly Vrooman, you did great on Sprout and you've had an excellent theatre and commercial career as far as I know. Keep on writing and acting because it's what you do best. Amanda Glass

Amanda Glass is a British puppeteer and costume maker who puppeteered on season 1 of Sooty (2011) as well as part of the third season. She also puppeteered on the Sooty video Sooty: The Big Day Out as well as making many of the puppets' costumes on the series. Besides doing Sooty, Amanda was also an additional puppeteer on Mongrels for three episodes. I personally think Glass should have puppeteered on a project by either the Muppets or the Henson Company (mostly in the Creature Shop). It's currently unknown what the performer looks like since the picture above either has her on camera or under one of the puppets. On both Sooty and Mongrels, other puppeteers she performed with include Iestyn Evans, Yvonne Stone, Simon Buckley, and Toby Olie, to name a few. Heather Quinn

Heather Quinn is a British puppeteer, cosplayer, singer, and gossiper who did many puppet characters for social media. She is also the only puppeteer who does cosplay, in other words, dresses and acts like their favorite character from a show. Heather also has a love for anything vintage, which I personally find to be unique for a person to like things from the past. Quinn hasn't done anything Muppet-related in her life, in fact she's probably never even heard of the Muppets or the Henson Company. However she has puppeteered many times for social media such as TikTok and Instagram. One of her puppets resembles an Ewok from the Star Wars franchise, which could give a clue that she's a Star Wars fan as well.
