Eric Baker

Eric Baker is a prop builder, puppeteer, and former Disney Imagineer who is well known for being prop master for Nickelodeon (and Nick Jr. too). He made props for many shows such as Weinerville, Blue's Clues, What Would You Do?, and Gullah Gullah Island. For the latter, Eric was also the puppet assistant for James Kroupa while Kroupa was the main performer of Chansome Pelican. I've read that Baker has also done one Muppet project as a part of the production crew, and that was Kermit's Swamp Years. For a few years, he served as builder for Universal, where he built models of Hogwarts Castle, both small-scale and large-scale. He also served as a decorator for Disney on various projects, like building props and building a sort of mini attraction to entertain those waiting in line. Apparently, Eric Baker must be an extremely busy man working at both Universal and Disney theme parks, helping build models and props for attractions and parts of both parks. I've read that he was also a part of "The Fabulous Baker Boys" consisting of himself and his late brother David. They were both known for theatrical design at separate projects, his brother did The Muppets which I think he should have done. I mean Eric should have done more with the Muppets other than that one TV movie. Right now Baker is doing top secret projects that can't be revealed yet, for those who are reading this, don't ask. Let's just hope that he will give puppetry another chance someday since he assisted the pelican so well on Gullah Gullah Island. If he can be an assistant, then he could be a main performer. Eric Baker, you were so imaginative when working at both Universal and Disney. When you retire, you'll have something you'll consider your own achievement. And maybe someday, assist the Muppet Performers for a future production, besides The Muppets Mayhem, it was already filmed last year. Keep being imaginative Eric. You're a wiz Baker!
