Emma Weaver
Emma Weaver is a British voice actress and actress who has not performed in any Muppet or Henson project whatsoever. She is known for being the voice and animatronic operator for Bella on Tweenies, taking over the role from Sally Preisig. Technically, Emma also did puppetry since each animatronic head was operated like a puppet, in a similar style to the Creature Shop. Other shows Weaver lent her voice to have included Jelly Jamm (as Mina) and Underground Ernie (as Millie/Sweet Millie). She has also acted in one TV movie called Daisies in December as a maid. On Tweenies she worked with Bob Golding, Justin Fletcher, Colleen Daley, and Sinead Rushe. I think Emma Weaver would have been a great puppeteer for the Muppets since each character was operated like the Gorgs of Fraggle Rock, only with more complex facial expressions. She should have done Mopatop's Shop, The Hoobs, or any other Henson Company show shot where Tweenies was filmed. Maybe someday she'll try puppetry again in the way the Muppets were operated, by hand. It's never too late for Emma to give something another chance or even start over at it. Let's hope that Weaver is still lending her voice to television today since the last time she lent her voice to a project was in 2013. You never know when a performer gets another chance to work on television again, let's hope that the next project she does will involve puppetry. She has done animatronic type puppetry, now she needs to try Muppet-style puppetry. Emma Weaver, even though it states that you only acted and voice acted, you've technically tried puppetry on Tweenies and even did a great job as Bella's face and voice. And technically, that would make you a puppeteer too, at least that's what I think. Whatever it is you're doing now, keep on doing it and maybe someday if you're lucky, you'll run into a Muppet performer. Until then, let your voice shine Emma. Well done Weaver!
