Paul Pistore

Paul Pistore is a puppeteer, special effects artist, writer, and voice actor who is best known for working for many film directors in the feature films. Some of the films he worked on include Batman Returns, Alien Resurrection, and Men in Black 2, just to name a few. Other than films, Paul has puppeteered & done animatronics for several commercials and TV productions in the USA, Europe and Asia. Most notably, Pistore performed Mister Moose and Copernicus P. Digit on The All New Captain Kangaroo, with performers Scott Swenson and Rhonda Gdasi. I've read that he also did both puppetry and voice acting on Fox Family Channel's The Basement Block in which he wrote and directed too. In Singapore, he founded a special effects company called CoreCrewFx, responsible for building numerous special effects, puppets, costumes, and props for Universal Studios Singapore, Legoland Malaysia, and many more. Despite doing all of those wonderful things around the world, Paul Pistore has never worked in one project by either the Muppets, Henson, or Sesame Street. He would have been great for Kermit's Swamp Years, Big Bag, or Animal Jam since all three of those were filmed where Captain Kangaroo was made. He is probably the only puppeteer to voice act on in the Power Rangers franchise, since the shows produced feature more suit performances than puppetry. Currently, Paul has been focused writing children's books (4 so far) that impact kids lives. I only wish Pistore would meet the Muppet performers someday and maybe ask if he could assist them in their next project. He should also consider showing them his company and all of the neat things they make. Paul Pistore, you're a very creative person and one of the greatest puppeteers to work in the films for famous directors. You should meet up with the Muppets someday and tell them about yourself and how might you'd be great with them. That is, when you're not busy with whatever it is you're doing. Excellent special effects work Paul. Be cool Pistore!
