Warwick Davis

Warwick Davis is a midget actor and suit performer who has done several Creature Shop roles over the years. He worked on Labyrinth, Gulliver's Travels, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as various creatures and androids. Outside of the Creature Shop, Warwick is perhaps best known for being Wicket the Ewok in the Star Wars franchise (one film and two spinoffs). Other productions Davis did include Willow (the title character), Ray, the Leprechaun series (the title character), and the Harry Potter series (Professor Flitwick). He also served as a stand-in for Yoda in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace while Frank Oz did the puppet in close-up shots. I've read that Warwick Davis appeared with Elmo when he visited in 2010, all of which was made into an online video. Some of the other Labyrinth performers in which he performed with include Katie Purvis, Tessa Crockett, and Linda Spriggs, to name a few. I've read on IMDb that he has also made a TV mini series and a short documentary in which he was writer, director, and producer. In 2019, Warwick reprised Wicket in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and was also creature and droid puppeteer. On TV, Davis has appeared as himself in many series, game shows, documentaries, and so much more stuff nobody could keep track of. I believe he is a legendary person when it comes to fantasy and science fiction films. Since 1983, he's been on-screen in hundreds of swell projects and got to work alongside several British legends over the years. Warwick Davis, you've done so wonderful in all of those films and TV shows, there should be a statue of you. You were excellent in the Lucasfilm movies, mainly Star Wars and Labyrinth, meeting Jim Henson in the latter. I hope you'll continue to work in several different productions in the future, you never know when you'll be needed again for another film. Way to go out of this world Warwick. You're full of magic and fantasy Davis!
