Geri Cole

Geri Cole is a writer who worked on Sesame Street since the 41st season. She began as a production assistant for 5 seasons before transitioning into writing beginning with season 46. Geri has also served as a puppeteer at the 2015 Annual Sesame Workshop Benefit Gala, puppeteering Segi to someone else's voice. Cole could have puppeteered on the show itself, but I guess she was happy with writing. Other than episode scripts, she did special material for the series including the special Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas and The-Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo. Geri Cole must be very proud to work among the people on Sesame Street to this very day. She has also been credited as a lyricist for season 50 of Sesame Street, but I would like to see what songs she provided lyrics to. Personally, I think she should try and be an assistant Muppet performer on the show or maybe puppeteer other characters to celebrity voices. Geri has even wrote for a parody of Birdman, starring Caroll Spinney and Big Bird in 2015. I hope that Cole keeps working on Sesame Street as both writer and lyricist for the future. Even though she only puppeteered once, she is welcome to be on this blog. Geri Cole, you are a talented writer and you did a good job operating Segi for an event. Keep on working with Sesame Street and before you know it, you'll go down in history. I hope you are making the head writer proud. If you are Geri, then I would say he's very proud of your work. Excellent writing for everything you did for the show Cole!
