Steve Nallon

Steve Nallon is a British impressionist, puppeteer, actor, and writer who was an additional performer on Muppet Treasure Island (uncredited) and The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. He should've done more projects with both companies, but what he does is his choice. Steve also performed Cassandra (puppet by the Creature Shop) on What's Up Doc? along with Don Austen, John Eccleston, Timothy D. Rose, and William Todd-Jones. Outside of the Creature Shop, Nallon is best known for impersonating former Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, which came into use on Spitting Image. Not only did he puppeteer on the show, but he was also a leading impressionist in which he voiced various characters. His other puppet projects include The Pig Attraction, The Spooks of Bottle Bay, Crazy Cottage, The Wild Bunch, and many more. In addition to puppetry and impressions, Steve Nallon has tried motion capture, in fact he's a creative and experienced motion capture performer too. His acting is also incredible as he's acted in Storyteller, The Rocky Horror Show, and Frankie and Johnnie, to name a few. He is also known for being a freelance writer and script editor from plays and series to books and periodicals, & some of his scripts have been on The Ghost of Number Ten, The Nallon Tapes, and Props with Mark Eden. Steve is perhaps one of the UK's busiest performers since he's done over a hundred projects over the years and still is doing so today. Nallon should be proud to have so many talents, especially as the first puppeteer to be a perfect impressionist (I think). Then again, there could be other puppeteers who do impressions, you never know. After all, other Muppet performers have done impressions when doing their characters but this guy here is known for impersonating British celebrities and actors. Steve Nallon, you've done so wonderful on Spitting Image in both the original and revival. You've also shown off your talents to over a hundred different projects whether on screen, stage, or radio. Keep up the great impressions as well as acting, puppetry, and writing. You sure made a star of yourself Steve. Well done Nallon!
