Greg Ballora
Greg Ballora is a puppeteer and puppet designer/builder, who worked with the Muppets for a couple of times. He served as an additional Muppet performer on Muppets Tonight (in episode one) and the 2011 film The Muppets. Greg also served as an additional puppeteer on Telling Stories with Tommie dePaola (as a penguin in a band), The Happytime Murders, and Earth to Ned. Ballora even puppeteered on two Creature Shop-effects films; The Flintstones and Stuart Little 2. Outside of the Muppets, he provided special effects work on RoboCop 2 (the robot monster) and Spider-Man 2 (part of the Doctor Octopus' arms team). His other films include being the lead puppeteer on Team America: World Police, one of the worm guys in Men in Black II, and a creature in The X-Files (1998). As for television and home video work, Greg Ballora puppeteered on The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth, The Mr. Potato Head Show (as Baloney), Greg the Bunny, and many more. In some of those projects, he designs and builds some of the characters he puppeteered as credited in Billy & Mandy's Big Boogey Adventure and It's Coming from Inside the Fridge. I'm amazed that he did a lot of puppetry and puppet creation throughout his life of entertainment. Greg's latest Muppet work was being one of the puppet wranglers during their live performance at the Hollywood Bowl. Ballora is still working with puppets today, like in upcoming projects. He seems like one of those puppeteers who operates monsters and assisted super villains for action packed films, lucky enough to do a Marvel film. He should show this off to other puppeteers that way they can work on Disney, Muppets, or even Marvel projects. Greg Ballora, you're an expert when it comes to puppets and effects. I hope you'll help the Muppets again on future projects. You never know when you'll be needed to assist or do a character. Keep working Greg. You're a marvel Ballora!
