Jeny Cassidy

Jeny Cassidy is a Canadian actress, puppeteer, puppet designer/builder, and educator who has worked as an additional puppeteer on The Muppets Wizard of Oz in which she occasionally assisted for Bill Barretta, Allan Trautman, and Eric Jacobson. She also assisted in Turkey Hollow which was taped on location. I wonder why Jeny only assisted in 1 Muppet project and 1 Creature Shop project. I've read that Cassidy has trained in many types of puppetry including marionettes, hand and rod puppeteering, and animatronics (to name a few). Outside of the Muppets, she puppeteered in The Haunting Hour, Alien vs. Predator 2, Marmaduke, Falling Skies, and The Barbarian and the Troll. Her puppets have been featured in stage shows, on the web for Nokia, and in numerous independent films. Jeny Cassidy has also appeared as an actress in film and television productions such as Fringe, Paradox, and within theatre productions of Avenue Q, Robin Hood, and more. I wish that the Muppets would perform in Canada again, so she can assist them again in their next Muppet special or film. In 2017, she performed on Imaginary Mary as a puppeteer opposite of actress Jenna Elfman. At least Jeny is still puppeteering on-screen for an adult TV show. It says that Cassidy is also makeup effects coordinator for many films like Stan Helsing, The Divide, Killer Mountain, and many more. Maybe she could work in the Creature Shop or Puppet Heap to create more Muppet and/or Creature characters. I want her to do more work that involves either creatures or Muppets. Jeny Cassidy, you're another great puppeteer who can do any type of puppetry from simple to complicated types. You got the qualities of a true Muppet performer and that's performing for everyone. Keep puppeteering and it would also be nice if you did another project with the Muppets. Keep on working with puppets Jeny. You've got some taste Cassidy!
