James Murray

James Murray | Muppet Wiki | Fandom
James Murray is a freelance puppeteer, voice actor, filmmaker, and singer. He has occasionally done work for various Henson/Muppet productions. For the Muppets, James was an additional puppeteer on Muppets Tonight, Muppet Classic Theater, Muppet*Vision 3D, and The Muppets (2011). Murray's job with Henson includes Dinosaurs (playing refrigerator creatures and members of the hearing board) and Telling Stories with Tommie dePaola (playing the Rabbit). He seems to assist the Muppets more than on occasion the same with Henson. He has even worked on the Henson Alternative production Late Night Buffet where he assisted Tyler Bunch. Outside of the Muppets, James Murray co-created, produced, wrote, directed, and performed on The Adventures of Timmy the Tooth. His other puppetry credits can be seen on Greg the Bunny, The Mr. Potato Head Show, The Crayon Box (which he also wrote), and Mack & Moxy, to name a few. I'm amazed that there is another puppeteer to have done over a hundred different shows that have involved puppetry. James has also done numerous film work, like on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, Men in Black, Batman Returns, and many more. Murray's voice can be heard in video games, Life with Louie, and The Brave Little Toaster Goes to Mars, and anime too. He seems to be a very busy man providing puppetry and lending his voice to animation games and projects. His latest Muppet work was assisting them live at both the Hollywood Bowl and the O2 Arena, both which feature the same puppeteers. James Murray, you've made a star out of yourself by doing so much. Your latest work Duckwalksintoabar, Puppet Guru, and The Barbarian and the Troll have put so much life in you. There isn't anything you can't do at all. Well done James. Keep your smiles clean Murray!
