Denise Cheshire

Denise Cheshire is a puppeteer, gymnast, stuntwoman, and suit performer who has only worked in 1 project featuring the Muppets and one Creature Shop film. She has performed background characters for It's a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie, which was the only Muppet project she did. She was also a suit performer in the 1998 Creature Shop film Jack Frost, alternating with Bruce Lanoil. I don't know why Denise hasn't done any other projects with either the Creature Shop or the Muppets like a lot of puppeteers. She must be happier with doing gymnastics than puppetry. Outside of the Muppets and the Creature Shop, Cheshire has done a lot of film work as an on-screen actress. But her puppetry can be seen in Men in Black II operating the locker alien. Her suit performing is seen in the film Ed as the titular chimp and in Disney's Mighty Joe Young as a gorilla. All of her other films were mostly on-screen acting as seen in Under the Rainbow, Graduation Day, Amazing Ape, and many more. She has also done stunts for various films such as Lassie, Ratboy, Star Kid, and The Goonies (to name a few). I wonder if Denise Cheshire really is a gymnast because there doesn't seem to be any info about her doing gymnastics on the Internet. At least I think there isn't. I still wish that Denise would resume working with the Muppets and the Creature Shop because she is very talented at doing stunts and the Muppets have some stunt scenes in their films. Maybe when the Muppets are filming another project she could ask if she could be one of the stunt doubles for their next film. Cheshire must be a gymnast because if she could do all of those stunts, than she's probably very fit and flexible. Denise could be one of the only puppeteers to do stunts and gymnastics. I just hope that she remembers how exciting it was working with the Muppets. Denise Cheshire, you're excellent at stunts and a very flexible lady when it comes to gymnastics. I hope you keep doing stunts for films and maybe someday ask if you can be a stunt double for another Muppet project. If that doesn't work out, then ask if you can stunt double for a Creature Shop project. Because you should do puppetry more often. Get physical DC!
