Sean Johnson

Sean Johnson | Muppet Wiki | Fandom
Sean Johnson is a puppeteer, designer, puppet builder, and twin-brother of Patrick Johnson who has worked with Jim Henson's Creature Shop since 2005. Sean and Patrick were additional puppeteers in The Muppets and Muppets Most Wanted. He is also credited as an additional puppeteer on the final episode of The Muppets. For his work with The Jim Henson Company, Sean has built and performed puppets in Puppet Up, Late Night Buffet with Augie and Del, Stuffed and Unstrung, and Alt/Reality, to name a few. I've read that Johnson also built puppets for a tour called Glow in the Dark Tour and some commercials for Air New Zealand. It seems all of that work with the Muppets and the Henson Company has prepared him for the puppetry world out there. Outside of his work with both Muppets and Henson, Sean Johnson and his brother have created the puppet company Swazzle. Swazzle has been known for creating puppets, costumes, and props for various shows, films, commercials, and web videos. Sean's other puppetry credits can be seen on The Pee-Wee Herman Show, The Simpsons, Mack & Moxy, the reboot of Crank Yankers, and more. All of those shows show that the characters were created by Swazzle. He must be very proud of himself, knowing that he made a vast amount of puppets, costumes, and props for many projects. He also puppeteered in one film, called Forgetting Sarah Marshall where he puppeteered the five dancing mummies. In 2018, Sean was an additional puppeteer in The Happytime Murders, along with his brother Patrick Johnson. I'm going to assume that all of the work he did with both Henson and the Muppets has inspired him to create puppets in his company Swazzle. I guess the same goes for Patrick too. I only hope that he keeps the company going because I want both brothers to always be remembered for all of the puppets they've designed, built, and performed for many people to see. Sean Johnson, you are artistic and very crafty when it comes to puppets. Keep on working with your brother at Swazzle and maybe soon you'll be asked to perform with the Muppets again on a new project. Stupendous puppets are all because of you Sean!
