Carla Rudy

Carla Rudy is a puppeteer, voice actress, and writer who performed in the Henson Alternative's Puppet Up in June 2008. She has also been selected to participate in a Sesame Street puppet workshop at their headquarters that same year. If Carla participated for Sesame Workshop, then why hasn't she performed on the show itself? Rudy was probably more comfortable to perform in California than fly to New York where Sesame Street was taped. Outside of Puppet Up, she puppeteered in various other projects like Mack & Moxy, Oscar's Hotel, Team America: World Police, Stool Pigeon, and many more. She also puppeteered with the musician Beck's world tour, which made appearances on Saturday Night Live, MTV, and Jimmy Kimmel Live, all of which count as TV credits. Carla Rudy's stage credits include The Little Prince, Bear in the Big Blue House Live, The Pee-Wee Herman Show, and more. Her voice can be heard in three shows, Automation, Armed Forces Radio, and Nougat. Her website states that she was invited to a scriptwriting workshop by Muppets own Jerry Juhl. Carla is also one of those people to tour with a musician which was where she got the touch of music in her puppet career. Rudy must be proud to be one of those people to puppeteer, voice act, and write for numerous projects over the years and also lucky to do a Sesame Street puppeteer workshop. She is also one of those puppeteers to work with Swazzle for a few projects, alongside Patrick Johnson and Sean Johnson. Other puppeteers she got to work with include BJ Guyer, James Murray, and Allan Trautman, and who knows maybe she'll meet more Muppet performers in the future. Carla Rudy, you've done so well on Puppet Up and all of those other productions throughout your career. You've done improv, live entertainment, scripts, puppet builds and so much more. Keep up the great work and also remember how lucky you were to meet legendary Muppet writer Jerry Juhl before his death in 2005. You sure are busy Carla. Hats off to you Rudy!
