Andy Stone
Andy Stone is a puppeteer and suit performer who's been performing with the Muppets and Sesame Street on several productions. For the Muppets, he has been an additional puppeteer in Muppets from Space, Kermit's Swamp Years, and The Muppets (2011). Andy also assisted on Sesame Street projects such as The Adventures of Elmo in Grouchland, CinderElmo, and Elmo's Christmas Countdown. Stone has even puppeteered in a 4-D film and movie policy ad in the same franchise. He seems to be a pro at working with both Sesame Street and the Muppets, but he's only done puppetry with them and has not received a character. The only time he did perform a character for the Henson Company was on Animal Jam (as DJ 3), paired with John Kennedy and John Tartaglia. Outside, of Animal Jam and Muppet-style productions, Andy Stone doesn't have a lot of info about himself, but should. His outside puppetry put him in Super Duper Supermarket Day and Johnny and the Sprites. I've read online that he also helped out for something called Puppet Mania in 2005 which involved him working with Kennedy. From Big Bag to The Muppets (2011), Andy has been a big help with Muppet characters, even though he only did the voice and puppetry of one. Let's hope Stone is still around doing freelance puppetry because it isn't right to become hidden from the world for years. Other performers he worked with include Matt Vogel, Jeff Conover, Rickey Boyd, and David Maida, to name a few. There's just no telling what this guy is going to do next or if he is going to perform in the future. Andy Stone, you're a great puppeteer but I think Animal Jam is your best known show. You've also done so well with the Muppets and Sesame Street over the years. If you're still doing puppetry today, keep at it, and maybe someday you'll receive an interview for a podcast or something. Until then, excellent work Andy. You're on the fly Stone!
