Spencer Lott is a puppeteer, director, and puppet creator who has worked on Sesame Street and their variety of projects since 2014. He assisted on select episodes of the 46th Season didn't receive credit until its 49th season. But Spencer's first on-screen credit for Sesame Street was seen in the special Once Upon a Sesame Street Christmas as an assistant. Lott was soon given a speaking role, starting with the letter K in a Sesame Street in Communities video before receiving a further speaking role. In 2019, he got the role of Julia's big brother Samuel in autism-related projects and later on the show properly in its 51st season. His website says that he also did a cabbage named Kyle, but it doesn't say when. Spencer Lott has also assisted the Muppets and Fraggle Rock during their Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade appearances. Outside of Sesame Street, he puppeteered on Helpsters and did the Fred Rogers biopic called A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood. Not only was he lead puppeteer, but he designed and built replica puppets of the characters from the original series. Spencer also designed and built puppets for various theater shows, music videos, and even a film called The Relationship. But what Sesame Street doesn't know is that Lott is also a director for theater. He directed and written various theater shows created exclusively for the Jim Henson Foundation Puppetry Residency at the O'Neill Theater Center with Elizabeth Hara. He has been paired with Stacey Gordon, Kathleen Kim, Ryan Dillon, and Peter Linz, as well as others on Sesame Street. Spencer Lott, you should be proud to work on Sesame Street and assisting the Muppets for their Thanksgiving Day Parade appearance in 2016. Keep working on Sesame Street and you'll be recognized with your Samuel character. Great job Spencer. Cool Lott!
