Drew Massey

Drew Massey is a puppeteer, voice actor, and filmmaker who performed with the Muppets and Henson Company since the early 1990's. He first started out as an additional puppeteer for Dinosaurs, Muppet Classic Theater, and Muppets Tonight before getting starring roles. Drew also assisted Sesame Street on the special Elmopalooza and The Not-Too-Late Show with Elmo (season 2 music videos). But Massey's most major Muppet production was performing Statler and others on the Muppet online series, From the Balcony. His other known work was mainly on Henson Alternative projects such as No You Shut Up and The Happytime Murders. Outside of the Muppets and Henson Company, he performed on many other projects, often collaborating with Victor Yerrid. Drew Massey's  outside projects began on The Puzzle Place before leading up to Cousin Skeeter, Greg the Bunny, Crank Yankers, Mutt & Stuff, and more. Other puppeteers he worked with, in addition to Yerrid, include Allan Trautman, Colleen Smith, and James Murray, to name a few. In addition to puppetry, his voice can be heard within several video games as well as character impressions on Robot Chicken. It's amazing how much work one man like Drew can do. Massey's most recent Muppet work was on Christmas Caroling Coach and The Muppets Mayhem while his latest outside work was The Barbarian and the Troll (as co-creator, writer, producer, and puppeteer of Evan and others). Apparently he's a master when it comes to doing work involving puppetry and animation. I just hope he'll do more Muppet characters again real soon, maybe on their next project. Drew Massey, you're an expert when it comes to both puppets and animation. I hope that you remain one of the famous puppeteers and voice actors on TV, especially with the Muppets. Until then, keep working on and off with both Muppets and Henson Company until you decide to stop (which won't be for a while). You sure got some expertise within you Drew. Rock on Massey!
