Jim Henson

Jim Henson was a puppeteer, filmmaker, and puppet designer best known for being the man who started the Muppets and who founded The Jim Henson Company. His was the first performer for Kermit the Frog, Ernie, and Rowlf the Dog, to name a few of his characters. Jim puppeteered in TV shows like, The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, and Sam and Friends. Over his years of performing Henson met more puppeteers who were brought into the Muppets such as Frank Oz and Jerry Juhl. He also wrote, produced, and directed many films and shows like, The Muppet Movie, The Great Muppet Caper, The Dark Crystal, Labyrinth, and other TV specials, in addition to performing in them. Jim Henson has created puppetry that no one has ever came up with in the past. Henson's last project with the Muppets was in the Walt Disney World special after he sold the Muppets to The Walt Disney Company. Sadly Jim Henson died in 1990 and his body was cremated. His works are still carried out today in different companies like Sesame Workshop, The Walt Disney Company, and The Henson Company itself. Jim Henson may be gone but he will still be remembered for the Muppets. Henson once said, "The most sophisticated people I know - inside they are all children." Personally, I think he means that people are still young at heart. Jim Henson, the Muppets have continued to make millions of people happy and there are more puppeteers entering the Muppets Studio, Henson Company, and Sesame Workshop. There is no end to the Muppets, Sesame Street, and your Henson Company. Rest in peace and continue being proud of all the people you worked with. You put the "up" in Muppet, Jim!

Rebecca Nagan

Rebecca Nagan is a British actress and puppeteer who has done various Henson and Muppet projects over the years. Her most notable projects were The Hoobs (as Tootle, one of The Motorettes) and The Furchester Hotel (as various characters). Rebecca has also assisted on The Muppets Christmas Carol, Muppet Treasure Island, Alice in Wonderland, and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. Nagan is more well known for her outside projects. Outside of Henson, she is most well known for performing Rosie on Rosie & Jim, while other shows include Bug Alert, Becky and Barnaby Bear, and Spitting Image (revival), to name a few. She also appeared on-screen on Tots TV as a singer and performer of nursery rhymes within primary schools for segments of certain episodes. Kathleen Kim

Kathleen Kim is a puppeteer and producer who performs Ji-Young and Elena (Julia's mom), on Sesame Street. She attended a Sesame Workshop puppeteer workshop in 2014 and was hired the next year to be an assistant for Sesame Street, where she worked on since. Kathleen's first character was a yawning cat in a Season 48 episode. Kim got her Elena character in 2019 where she performed her in many resource videos. That same year she performed a Sheinelle Jones AM on a Today appearance honoring Sesame Street's 50th anniversary. Her other puppetry credits include Helpsters, All Hallow's Eve (a musical play by Martin P. Robinson), and on a biopic focusing on Mr. Fred Rogers known as A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.
