Frank Oz
Frank Oz is a puppeteer, filmmaker, and a long time partner of Jim Henson. Oz is best known as the original performer of Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, and Animal for The Muppets. He also performed Bert, Grover, and Cookie Monster on Sesame Street. Those are just a few of the characters Frank has played over the years. Personally, I don't know why Frank Oz would retire from being a puppeteer. He has worked on The Muppet Show, Sesame Street, Muppets Tonight, and an episode of The Animal Show. I understand why Oz hated performing in body costumes, they're hot inside. I heard that Frank Oz would rather be a director than a puppeteer. For filmmaking, Frank started out producing The Great Muppet Caper before directing The Dark Crystal (with Jim Henson) and The Muppets Take Manhattan in addition to performing in them.
