Pam Severns
Pam Severns is a puppeteer, puppet builder, and filmmaker who is known for making YouTube videos as well as writing, directing, and performing on her own projects. She also puppeteered on episodes of the TV series Stan Against Evil, but most of her work was within online videos. Pam didn't work on any Muppet productions, but she has been interviewed by Muppet puppeteer Grant Baciocco on his podcast Under the Puppet. Severns also wrote, directed, and performed on numerous shorts such as Bunnies Are People Too, Murray at the Massachusetts Independent Film Festival, The Date, and more. It's a shame she never puppeteered on any other television series besides Stan Against Evil because television gives someone more opportunities. I saw an image of her kissing an Oscar the Grouch puppet, which means this woman has heard of Sesame Street. Actually, Pam Severns has worked with the Henson Company at the 2016 Puppets for Puppetry event honoring Dave Goelz, according to an interview. She got to meet Brian Henson as well as other Muppet performers, which must have been a dream come true for her to perform with her heroes. It's not often that a puppeteer would be selected by the Henson Company to do an event. Hopefully at some point in the future, Pam will be asked by the company again to perform on a future production, whenever that is. As long as Severns keeps herself busy, that's what matters. I hope she'll always remember that Puppets for Puppetry event and meeting "the" Dave Goelz. Her story from that interview on that particular event may be funny, but I believe it's all worth it. Pam Severns, you've done great making and performing on videos and shorts across the web. You must be proud to have met legendary Muppet performers in 2016 at that event honoring Goelz himself, a true legend. Keep writing, directing, and puppeteering on shorts and videos you make in your time. You really are full of surprises Pam. That's what's makes a puppeteer incredible Severns!
