Charlotte Levinson
Charlotte Levinson is a Canadian puppeteer and ventriloquist who served as an additional performer on the Sesame Street film, Follow That Bird. I don't know why she hasn't performed on any other Muppet projects shot in Canada. Before Charlotte was a full-time puppeteer, she was a registered nurse in which puppetry was a hobby and a sideline. Levinson started her professional performances with her "Puppet Relations" characters in the 1970s, doing shows across Canadian schools. That shows that she works well with kids since she's performed for them to be both educated and entertained. She also puppeteered on the series of specials, Miss Peach of the Kelly School (with Daniel Seagren, Eren Ozker, Bob Stutt, Olga Felgemacher, and Dan Redican). Charlotte Levinson was last heard in a 1989 newspaper and no one has heard from her since, at least not to my knowledge. I wonder if she did assist on other Canadian Muppet projects such as Fraggle Rock or Sesame Park, because one Sesame Street film is dull. Maybe someday on her Wiki page, more information will come in about her with more credits. If Charlotte's page doesn't update in the future, it doesn't really matter. At least Levinson got to perform alongside lots of Muppet performers while doing Follow That Bird and Miss Peach. She also met the three legendary ones when doing the former along with other puppeteers like Peter McCowatt. Until she performs again or if she's retired, she should keep working or enjoy the peace and quiet. Charlotte Levinson, you have been a role model for kids during the 1970s and you also did well assisting on Follow That Bird. Kids must have really looked up to you when you performed for them. If you're still working, keep at it, but if you're retired now, keep on relaxing. You'll never be forgotten Charlotte. Well done Levinson!
