Colin Penman

Colin Penman is a Canadian makeup artist, puppeteer, builder, and sculptor who is best known for his makeup effects for television and film projects. As a puppeteer, he performed on Ants in Your Pants (as one of the ants), The Fuzzpaws, and Santa Calls, all projects produced by YTV. Colin has also provided sculptures & animatronics for Ruffus the Dog and Panda Bear Daycare since he got trained by Robert Mills. Penman is more popular with his makeup effects on many different productions. His film credits include Pacific Rim, Total Recall, Hairspray, and the Saw franchise. As for television, he did makeup effects on Monsters (also doing a full-bodied role), Goosebumps, Defiance, and The Killjoys, to name a few. Some of the other puppeteers Colin Penman performed with include Marty Stelnick, Ben Deutsch, Jason Hopley, and Yolanda Yott. He seems to be more well known doing makeup effects on productions within the horror genre like in the ones mentioned above. He even won an award for his work on The Kennedys back in 2011. Some of Colin's recent projects include Slumberland, Dream Scenario, Gen V, and Thanksgiving. It would appear that Penman is still working in the makeup department today since he's doing more upcoming projects for the future. It's a shame the Muppets don't do a lot of projects that involve makeup effects, then he would be perfect to supervise. Maybe someday, he'll do a Henson or Muppet production in Canada, he just has to keep on working with makeup. Colin Penman, you are a genius when it comes to makeup effects for TV and film. It's no wonder you got an award for being the head makeup artist on The Killjoys. Keep on providing makeup effects as well as doing puppetry for future projects. Excellent work with makeup Colin. His most notable work with them was on Fraggle Rock as the body of Pa Gorg and various other characters on the series. Amanda Glass

Amanda Glass is a British puppeteer and costume maker who puppeteered on season 1 of Sooty (2011) as well as part of the third season. She also puppeteered on the Sooty video Sooty: The Big Day Out as well as making many of the puppets' costumes on the series. Besides doing Sooty, Amanda was also an additional puppeteer on Mongrels for three episodes. I personally think Glass should have puppeteered on a project by either the Muppets or the Henson Company (mostly in the Creature Shop). It's currently unknown what the performer looks like since the picture above either has her on camera or under one of the puppets. On both Sooty and Mongrels, other puppeteers she performed with include Iestyn Evans, Yvonne Stone, Simon Buckley, and Toby Olie, to name a few. Heather Quinn

Heather Quinn is a British puppeteer, cosplayer, singer, and gossiper who did many puppet characters for social media. She is also the only puppeteer who does cosplay, in other words, dresses and acts like their favorite character from a show. Heather also has a love for anything vintage, which I personally find to be unique for a person to like things from the past. Quinn hasn't done anything Muppet-related in her life, in fact she's probably never even heard of the Muppets or the Henson Company. However she has puppeteered many times for social media such as TikTok and Instagram. One of her puppets resembles an Ewok from the Star Wars franchise, which could give a clue that she's a Star Wars fan as well.
